Yeah, that is a little too blatant.

Can I get some feedback on some logos? Really stuggling to find something I'm happy with.
Also, do any of you know any logo designers who would be able to help with this branding project? Budget is £100 so I'm not sure how much we can get for that...
Trying to go for something simple and easily readable on this logo for a landscaping company.
Feedback welcome as I generally suck with logo design and have a lot of room to improve.

is this one or several ads? I don´t really get the context?
Several book covers communicating that you can publish your own book. I thought it was a pretty immediate takeaway. I got it... including the reference to Palahniuk's Diary.

I know this isn't the purpose of this thread, but I'm gonna try anyway. I just bought a domain for a stream channel I want to start, but I'm having trouble brainstorming to give it an identity. The name is "AwfulGamer.tv".
Anyone have any clever ideas they're willing to part with?
uh so fellow designers how do you like adobe moving to subscription exlusive?
i dont think i like it, i want to own software i buy
but on the other hand they do offer A lot for the price ....

Works for me, I think. It's a pretty damned good price, and I could see it being a lot easier to convince the boss to pay for that rather than a huge up front cost. And you'll always be up to date instead of, again, having to tell the boss particularly why you need to upgrade .
It is a really great price for what you get, though. I use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Premiere right now. There's probably other stuff I'll use later, too.
Sure, for work. But how does this apply to me, the student? And didn't the current CC service still have silly restrictions like only one activation at a time, making multiple workstations worthless?

they have a cc student discount but for some reason its limeted offer and ends on the 25th next month --
no freaking idea why they would stop offering student discounts after next month
This is my 2nd web site in a week! The first I did was too boring and corporate so I found a more funky and fun design to work with.

Do you guys get tired of your sites quickly and want to change them completely constantly? I'll keep this one for a whole now but I'm already seeing holes where I can improve to get my message across!
Some of the stuff in This thread is amazing through! Don't think I'll ever be as good but I'm looking to just stay small and aim for simple websites for now where customers don't expect too much or ask for designs that are too complicated for my limited talents
Noticed this as wellOn your job vacancies you have a space between E and xperience for both of them.
Agreed. It's kinda weird putting "our clients love us and why they keep coming back." at the top of the site, only to find no reference to any clients. You should add a link to some of the professional websites you've done thus far on there for potential clients to see.

Other than that it's pretty cool, the green is really fresh and the Dali quotes are a nice touch.
That's what I was aiming for?
It's supposed to be a mess and funky? I do see what you mean as it doesn't look as good as I thought it would. .
I have been interested recently on getting my hands on book design... So, any good book/magazine layout book for beginners that I should take a look at?

My bolding is a bit random, maybe I need a bit of "ordered chaos" rather than just chaos!
Yeah, it's not too pleasant to look at, it's too bright. I made a quick edit using Pantone's Fern Green (R 0, G 146, B 70).The green really doesn't work for me.

Sorry but all the css3 and html5 in the world does not make up for the fact you have a video with sound playing, automatically, and without the option to pause or mute.
