No i meant to quote you. Wanted to point out RE9's boiling issues because of that UE5 thread that was bumped up yesterday. I wanted to show that this boiling effect lumen is accused of is much much worse in other games.Dude i think you quoted the wrong guy in the first part.
As i predicted, people are already shitting on ue5 in the dedicated topic
So tsr is better than fsr3 and people are happy about crimson because...?
I have no idea whats going on in the Crimson Desert thread. Been watching the nvidia showcase, but if people are happy with 1080p 60 fps then i should point out that several UE5 games run at 1080p 60 fps now with TSR upscaling that 1080p to 4k. Expedition 33 and Mafia. I have no idea wtf happened with high on life 2. probably a developer issue.
lol yeah. Nvidia is doing a great job sending its engineers to implement path tracing in these games that otherwise probably wont have even bothered with it, but when you are making billions every month, its good to invest a couple of millions to give your GPU owners some reason to be show off their expensive GPUs.AMD in the meantime has not even had its first path tracing showcase.. FFS. I'm all for competition but that's pathetic.
I wish they went above that actually and bought ore revived some studios like Crytek and have them work on a PC only game like Crysis. With Valve turning into a glorified gamestop instead of an actual game developer, there is a big chasm in PC gaming and I really hope Nvidia and AMD invest some of the billions they are making from the chip boom back into the gaming industry. Path tracing is cool but i want something truly next gen before console next gen even starts. Set the bar early like Crysis and half life 2 did all those years ago.
