Young Justice has a completely different style to it but it's every bit as good as Green Lantern:TAS. I personally prefer the slow burning story telling of YJ, but GLTAS is just as awesome.

They're on the outer edge of the universe (Frontier Space), so it would take far too long to travel to Oa. That's why Hal and Kilowog have to use Aya. This was explained in the first episode.

Saint Walker hiding the fact that he's a Blue Lantern? That's what I think at least

he wasnt really hiding it. When he was talking about the green lantern he mentioned he follows a different path, hinting at it.

Man this show keeps getting better and better.

Makes up for both the crappy movie, and how boring as shit young justice and thundercats are.
 
That was great, so glad to see the familiar Red Lantern crew. I hope Hal starts using cool consrtucts like he used in the premiere, Kilwog's today was pretty great.

Reckoning felt like the season finale The scene with the priest explaining the RL back story was the best part.
 
The push that atrocitus gave razer is fucked up. I wonder how many other red lanterns he "hand picked"?
 
"Green Lantern" has quickly become my favorite of CN's Saturday shows. Today's episode was great. I think I like the show's Red Lantern oath more than the original one.
 
Good ep., and I like how they uh 'kid friendlied' their Oath. I might like it a lot more than the one Geoff made up =P

One thing I didn't like though was
Attrocitus murdering Razer's girlfriend, that was just dumb I feel. I can get him secretly causing a war in the hopes of some falling into such despair that their rage overcomes them, but...

How many eps. is this Season gonna be?
 
I usually hate characters of his archetype, but I don't know, I really like Razer and his stupid name.

I also hope they don't make him a GL, at least not for a long time, I enjoy him as a RL.
 
This ep felt more like a very short movie than like some kid's cartoon episode, very cool storywriting i guess. This show really grew on me, wasn't a GL fan at all before it.

Green Lantern the Animated Series Lighting Keys!

I thought these lighting keys from episode 106 would be awesome to show. Our talented designers paint these scenes to indicate how we want them lit. As you can see, the finished picture looks remarkably similar to the concepts.

Once again, proof that even CG series require DRAWINGS and PAINTINGS!

Same. On the one hand I realize that they can't promote an "anger" approach to issues, but on the other hand he adds variety.

I can almost see them going a route where he doesn't completely lose his anger, but he's able to harness it in a more controlled, almost surgical manner.

How are they being depicted as 1 dimensional?

If anything the RL core make a lot more sense in the animated series than it did in thier earlier depictions in the comics.

True, I guess. But then I'm still hoping they wouldn't go to the totally evil thing, just need anger issues.

Their mindless because Atrocitus keeps them that way, he recently lifted the control on Bleez. Also if you have enough will you can over come it like Guy did.

It's amazing how much more thoughtful and well put together this show is compared to Marvel's lattest offering. This is how you do a show for all ages and not inslt your audience.
 
I loved this episode, i like how they are slowly introducing the yellow element and how that affected kilowog, which might i mention i loved how they did those little dream sequences. But i have to say my favorite part of the episode (and quickly the series as a whole) was Razer and Aya’s interactions. The fact that he recited Ayas oath and told her that he did recharge and then dat ending.
