Green Man Gaming Thread: Save some green, man

So is voucher-age over? Now it's all credit or cash back it seems. Ah, well, it was nice while it lasted.

Still can lead to better deals than a lot of places. Buy a game on Steam and get nothing or buy a game on GMG for the same price with a 10$ credits towards another game. Easy to choose who to buy from. :p

I should have preordered and stuck with Hitman the 8,000 times they had it for $33 with all of these vouchers. Now I'm screwed.
Eh, not really. There's still the innate $5 discount, and you can get $7 catch back. That makes it $38, or $35 if you go for the credit. It's not as great of a savings, but it's only $5 difference versus taking advantage of the opportunity if you don't opt for credit.

It still requires more up front cash which I don't have the luxury of right now.

So they have a new %25 off voucher, GMG25-UAAHK-6AI9S

Anyone know if it's only one time use? It's good until Nov 9th so I don't know if I should use it now or wait to see if they'll sell Blops 2

Blops 2 is 20% off at Gamefly.com with the promo code BETATHANKS

At least it was a few days ago, not sure if the code still works. Give it a try

So nobody knows if that new code is one time use only?

I wouldn't mind using it on Space Marine now, and then maybe using it on something else later.

I've used the new voucher twice.

edit: I've tried the code again and I can still use it, so you can use it at least three times :)

LOVE GMG. Nabbed NBA 2K13 for $22.50 with that 25% off code. Beats paying $59.99 Canadian plus tax for the Xbox version, thats for damn sure.

Thanks xelios, didn't realize the Sleeping Dogs DLC was on there. :)

Off topic but how are you liking it? Played 100+ hours of 12, mostly my player.

Today's deal is The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav for $9.99, $7.50 after the coupon code. I'm really tempted to get it but it can't be traded in and it isn't even tied to Steam or Origin wtf.

edit: double wtf the Steam version has achievements so there's apparently a Steamworks and non-Steamworks version of the game

So I just pre-ordered Hitman with the 25%-off coupon using PayPal and got an immediate refund. Anyone know why that is? I've used PP before to buy 2 things and the transactions went through fine before...

This is my opportunity to get into the AC series.

How does ACII run on PC? Does it still require an always active internet connection? Also, the few games that I bought from GMG in the past activated on Steam but since this is not the case with the AC games, do I have to install their Capsule client to install them?

AC2 has some crazy LOD issues on PC that made me take the time to get a refund from Steam for my purchase. LOD is worse than on console, which to me is a deal-breaker. Take a look at some of the buildings in the background here:

Battlefield 3 premium for $30 is awesome, not gonna play the game again anytime soon but I gotta buy this

holy shit a 10 GB download! fuck that!

$16.25 for Chivalry. Not sure if I should hold out for Steam's winter sale or just bite.

I'm not expecting Borderlands 2 to go below $35 during the Steam Winter sale. Too new, and X-com probably won't go below $30 during the winter sale too. That's probably why I would jump into those two games.
