The STGWeekly video series will be doing a return feature on Strania tomorrow (December 13, 12PM CST) and it'll include a pre-recorded/subtitled interview with Maruyama, founder and president of G.rev!

The stream has been archived at the above link; it was a bit of a shitshow due to skype mishaps and the hosts talked over a lot of the interview which I thought was lame, but here are two answers from Maruyama that I thought were worth mentioning:
-When asked about Steam, he said he understood that releasing games on Steam would be a trial-and-error process and that they don't expect Strania to sell like crazy right away, especially given the low penetration of Steam in Japan, so they're taking the slow-burn approach and are focusing on "establishing the G.rev name" on PC before doing anything bigger like entirely new games.
-When asked for the chances of a Senko no Ronde Duo port or sequel, he said they were seriously considering a Duo port; as for a sequel, he said they had ideas for a third game but that it might be a spinoff rather than a typical "Senko 3" and that it'd require a higher budget than they're capable of acquiring right now, so it's not in their immediate plans.
