Kaz has said about online play is that its still happening and is almost complete. He also said it could be in the Korean version of GT4 but he isn't sure. This was all before the US delay was announced so the possiblity of it being in the US version is there also.
As for a solid US date, there are only place holder dates at the moment.

There's a lan mode with 8 players : 6 racers and 2 observers. Sound like a net integration to me. Why would you want 2 observers, in a Lan?

I still don't see how you could drive the Benz Patent on many of the courses in GT4. With its .4HP I really doubt it could go up even a moderate hill.SolidSnakex said:
I love seeing it in the game from a historical perspective seeing as it is the first car ever made (especially if they give more background information about the cars like in GT2), but it would just be a chore to drive. I think it might be in just for photo mode.

In case you weren't sure, your TV does not have the resolution to display that image. And it's a replay camera, which is not a screenshot I give a damn about. It may be tolerable when a game is first announced, but we're just a month or two away from this game and all we've seen are crappy replay camera shots in resolutions that don't exist on PlayStation 2. Oh, and that shot SolidSnakex posted, which isn't impressive at all.
I'm certain the game is absolutely gorgeous, because Gran Turismo 3 was, but it's ridiculous that we don't have real screenshots.

To the few of us who have played Prologue and like every other frigin demo of GT4, we can attest that GT4 is insanity. It's gorgeous, visually.

You do realise its available to buy dont you ? Every man and his dog has played it.
Oh yeah and IMO it aint insanity or gorgeous. Its just GT3 with more cars and tracks and the shitty generic overmixed vehicle noises from GT3. It looks pretty good and the controls are better than GT3 apart from rally which is a joke.
