I just keep scrolling through all the shots on the website- over and over...
We're so close. It's crazy to think how little we still know about the game's switching mechanics, the individual missions, the properties to buy- I'm glad we're kind of in the dark even after the trailers.
There's going to be a lot of bike riding and exploration!

The problem is that nowadays livestreams get shut down within minutes, as will any gameplay on youtube and the likes.
Back when GTAIV came out it leaked three weeks before launch and people were livestreaming it 24/7 on good old justin.tv.
..and it was amazing.

Rockstar must've not known about that because they were like hawks when it came to shutting down Youtube videos for GTA4. Anyone that has a Youtube channel that they want to keep should avoid posting any gameplay videos of it untilt he release date.

I'm just re-reading a ton of Criminal. May not be utterly relevant to GTA V fast paced heists, but more of a slow, methodical noir burn.

Tuesday will be an interesting day since that's when some on GTAForum's have been claiming that their local stores will be receiving them. I still find it hard to believe that Rockstar would ship them out this early. The pre-load date for PSN (September 13th) is probably a good indication of a timeframe when stores will start to receive copies. I'd expect them to start arriving during that week in order to be ready for the launch. There's no real reason for them to ship them out this early.

They still killed those fast. But leaks get around either way. Private youtube videos that get linked around or PMed here usually last the longest.
But I do fondly remember the GTA4 streams, one in particular was just someone messing around in a police chase and seeing euphoria in action was crazy. Sold me on the game during one of his hilarious deaths.

I tried that a few weeks back. It was blurry as hell and the framerate was awful. I lasted 10 minutes and turned it off. I certainly don't remember it being that bad.

I tried to enjoy GTA4 yesterday, it was impossible. To slow, sluggish controls, boring city, forgettable radio stations, bad mission design, nothing to see or explore. I need GTA5 now!

Was surprised how decent it looked when I popped it back in, but yup about the vaseline though.
Ditto. It's borderline unplayable for me. I didn't have a HD TV back in 2008, so the resolution didn't phase me. And it's only in recent times I've become sensitive to the framerate.

I really need to go buy a PS3 controller but this is most likely the last game i will buy on consoles this gen and really, really don't want to spend $50 on a controller that i will use for week.
Goddamn circle button wants to stick and i know i can fix it if i wasn't afraid that i wouldn't be able to put the controller back together. I know it's something inside that needs to be clean because when i blow into it the button stops doing it for awhile. Having to blow to make it not stick every 20-30 minutes while playing last of us was annoying.
