Forgot they had a contest, that's pretty cool how it turned out. Remember when GTA4 had a contest where you could be featured on WKTT? Don't think anything ever came of that though.

When I signed up, I had no idea what I was actually signing up for (it was before there the link was actually available, and I just found a form hunting around those sites and filled it out)... And I used a picture of my dog. That's why I never got an email back :(
 
Honestly, more than anything I'm waiting for the first glitches to show up. They always give the game character. I would pay money to have the RDR 'manimal' glitch return and have human models mapped to cars.

I really hope the swingset glitch shows up again. So many hours of enjoyment from that, lol.

GTAIV's graphics and control did not age well at all, but RDR still looks incredible on consoles.

No way that's a shot of RDR off of a console.

I will agree that it's a pretty game and still holds up but that shot is way too smooth to be a console screen grab.

It's probably how it would have looked on PC. ; __ ;

I hope they fix the glitch in all swingsets except for one in some random area, as a nod to the ol glitch.

Also I'd LOVE To have a Big Foot rumor... but I think that's probably been exhausted by RDR:UN

Haha, I agree.

RDR was fairly glitch free for me, but I do remember one with horses. I was in that little town in the first area of the game and saved inside that first saloon. When I walked outside every horse was bouncing up and down in the ground. Even the carriages. They got faster and faster until they started flying hundreds of feet into the air. It was great.

San Andreas had plenty of weird stuff, rumors and hoaxes to take inspiration from. The suicide cliffs, the ghost cars, the chainsaw maniac at the lumber mill.
 
Starting to really feel the hype for this now.

I just wish there was some way of knowing the technical issues for each format.

I would much rather get this on PS3 as I have every intention of getting a PS4 come release and I am assuming my progress (especially any "upgrades" in GTA Online) will be transferable to the inevitable next-gen console version.

The problem is of course that past experience has shown Rockstar's big sellers (GTA and RDR) have been somewhat superior on the Xbox.

I'd pay hard cash right now to know the differences we can expect.

I got the manimal glitch a few times. The first time I saw something strange in the sky and it was an old man flapping his arms and I must have laughed for an hour.

All of the GTA games have had their own unique and great glitches. I discoved driving a car into the swingset/ catapult on my own.

I didn't mind mashing A to spring in IV (the only mainline GTA I own), but what I DIDN'T like was that the spring would only last for ten seconds or so, and then you have no idea how long the cool down time is before you can sprint again, because there is no bar or meter to indicate the recharge. I hope at least THAT has been addressed in V.

if you have PAL xbox , and ordered the NTSC version, you can use an US account to activate the codes and it will work on your xbox without problem ( just like NFS HP )
 
Do we know how much it will cost on US PSN?
 
My friend offered me to share his account and split GTA V half on PSN. Is this allowed? Or if Sony finds will I get banned or not be able to play GTA V anymore? He claims to have done it before but I've never shared accounts with anybody.

Gamesharing is perfectly legal. They encouraged it before by letting us share with four or five other people, but then they changed it to one because they decided to be assholes. I'm sharing accounts with a friend, and we can both access each other's accounts and download stuff that the other has bought.

As long as you don't post it on an internet forum. Kidding, I have a PS3 in the living room and another in the bedroom, all my purchases can be downloaded on both as long as the PSN account is one. But seriously, Rockstar deserve the $60 and more per game.

You wouldn't be able to play at the same time... and I'm not entirely sure of Sony's policy on sharing games on PSN. You probably won't be banned though. Get a part time job for 10 hours over the next 2 weeks and you'll be able to buy the whole game.

You only need to start the download with the account that owns the game. Once you've done that, two players can play the same game at the same time on the accounts they usually use (or any other account for that matter).

I have the money for GTA V already however saving those $30 can help a lot since college and the bills I have to pay at home are sometimes overwhelming, plus I'm trying to save up for my PS4.

Yeah. For example, my friend bought the Infamous vampire game, and I could log into his account, download it, then play it while logged in as myself. Same goes for DLC.
 
It seems like Rockstar was ready to launch the game this week........yet for marketing reasons we have to wait until September 17th...that's cruel and stupid :P

I used to account share with a few people before Sony limited to two systems at a time (I have two PS3s), so it should be fine.
 
The PS3 version will be the one R* sends out to p/reviews.

Doesn't matter who does the write up, it'll just be given to whoever wants to do them

Like SolidSnakex and Mustainium said, there is no lead platform. This is what they said on the matter;
