I've got a special edition on pre order but I'm gonna switch it to a reg, there's nothing in it I really want.
Congrats one of the best games this gen. What would I give to experience it all over again. Way to pass the wait time.I just put in Red Dead Redemption in my PS3 and is playing it for the first time. I'm not too fond of the character movement but atmosphere, acting and targeting is all kinds of great!
I just hope that character movement is nailed in GTA V - I actually think it's better in Max Payne 3 so that's progress at least.

They said in a invoice that they'll start shipping normal First Class on Saturday so it can come Tuesday (or even Monday) and they'll send the One-Day delivery ones on Monday so they come Tuesday morning.
I'm just waiting now..
Also, chose the standard copy. I was going to opt for the Steelbook version, but decided against it due to needing college cash.
I've never gotten the special or collector's edition for a game. I caved in this time and ordered the special.

If I had the extra cash spare, i'd of gone for it. I love collecting steelbooks, but ah well, it's not a big loss, I guess.

That sure isn't how it is here. This is the options I get from looking at all the sites I normally buy from in Denmark. 100 KR exchanges to 17.5 dollars, so it's pretty fucking expensive
and yeah they totoally put the PC version up and this is the probably biggest and best online game retailer in the country

Pre-ordered the regular edition as well from Newegg a couple of weeks ago since it comes with a $10 gift card and no tax (in NY at least) which is the best thing I love about Newegg.
The idea of paying $20 for a map, a bunch of crappy in game items, and getting a game breaking boost of special abilities and two free weapons aren't worth it. A friend of mines ordered the Collector's Edition.

They finally answered the question everyone has. How is the framerate? They said it was smooth on both system and they didn't notice a difference between the PS3 or 360.
Of course this won't satisfy GAF, cause its IGN.

Just out of curiosity does the R* Warehouse have the same prices? I'm pretty sure Denmark was in the ship-to countries.

Can apparently only order shirts and such from there to Denmark. The game itself just gives some error message where the order button and all that is supposed to be.
I dunno, some of the achievements hinted at collectibles so I'm confused.

EXCELLENT news. Hated that it the previous GTAs and more of what replaced them is outstanding.
Edit: If in fact thats what replaced them. I havent watched the video and the above looks to be a bit of speculation.

Man Rockstar is going in with ads for this game there's even more on the subways; both entrance and in the trains.I can't imagine their first month sales estimates.

Right. I'm not sure when the embargo ends, to be honest; but it must be late next week sometime.
To me I got the impression that the achievements didn't hint at traditional collectibles but at missions that involve collecting things that you get after buying certain properties, like Vice City I guess.*
*that's not a spoiler that's just me guessing.
I'll be kind of glad if there's no collectibles that are there just to collect things. After almost every single current gen game having something like that I've reached my limit collecting garbage. Collectibles should have some kind of purpose or story behind them.
