What's to be ready for? The $100 price tag?

I'm kidding, but I guess my readiness will be the same like for any other anticipated game.

Not with my 3060 GPU.

I hope i can find a decent deal on a more powerful card before the game gets released.

I´d not be surprised if it gets another delay.
Also It won't be on PC at release so I´ve got a lot of time to get ready for my obligatory 1-time-story-playthrough which is my usual experience with R* games.. I guess by the time I´ll actually be playing it I could already sit on a 6080 GPU, so I think I´ll be "ready".

I try not to overthink. I'll be excited about it on 2026. In the meantime, I'm very excited about Death stranding 2 on June 26, and hopefully Battlefield 6 this year.

I'm ready, ready to wait an additional 6-12 months for a PC release, then another 6-12 months for the price to drop.
No hurry for me.

You hope.

There isn't any guarantee there won't be a second delay. Always do keep those into account, no matter what the Take Two CEO says. Dude recently said he's confident there won't be any further slippage.

He said the exact same shit last year several times and then it got delayed a full year, lmao.

I just beat San Andreas for the first time and honestly? No one does it like Rockstar. They are probably have the best attention to detail of any developer. I'm excited just for the tech showcase it will be. It's gonna be RDR2 on a billion more times a budget and time.

I've been ready for eight years .

Might just be enough time for me to return to and finish GTA 3, San Andreas, Vice City, GTAIV, GTAV.
Then I can play through the first 4 hours of the story in GTAVI before spending a further hour or two blowing stuff up and starting random fights and police chases before uninstalling.

I started a replay of GTAV with the enhanced edition on PC + NaturalVision mod. Goddamn the game looks so good.

Same with RDR2, also gonna continue my playthrough. At the end of the game, but goddamn what are these graphics still.

Lmao at ppl expecting a 50/60fps mode. This game is going to go balls to the wall with simulations. Npc's, traffic, weather and more. The problem isnt the GPU (the game looks amazing already), its the CPU of these 5 year old consoles.

WE will get amazing npc simulations, world reactions etc.

You will still get heavily directed missions that offer very little freedom for the player during these missions.

You will have a ton of freedom to fuck around in the open world to your hearts content

Ready to ignore it, yes.
same. they are probably best at that genre, but i just hate what the genre became or maybe always was. San Andreas was already way too big. Half or more of the game is getting to the quest marker. GTA, RDR, WD, Yakuza, Horizon, AC, Just Cause etc all the same. I rather play call of juarez or mafia1.

I fear either a delay or even worse like the game will have messy early access options.
Lol, no

It will be one if not the most polished gaming product.

Just like GTA V was extremely polished (maybe not fps wise but amount of bugs absolutely)

Why do you feel like this when Rockstar has shown time and time again they will not release a buggy early access pos?

But 26 may is the day that Ray Liotta (Tommy Vercetti) died, and also the day Bonnie was buried.

Dont think theyd pick a date if they werent confident.

I think the game is basically done and they are using this next year to polish it to heaven and back
