GTA VI comes out exactly 1 year From today - Are you ready?

Based on what?

Why would GTA VI be anything like RDR2?

One is an action game, the other is a western.
Based on GTA IV, GTA V and RDR2 delays. 3 times in a row and all had multiple delays. I'll believe a R* game meeting it's release date when it happens.

Not only are dev time's longer these days but they're not crunching the employee's, still partially working from home and GTA V online makes bank regardless so they'll be under no rush.

A 4 month delay until the end of September wouldn't upset anyone too much.

Don't really care about GTA, just interested what kind of advancements Rockstar will introduce in their game that nobody else can do.

Need to get a PS5 first.... but i will for when the game comes out.

Based on Trailer 2 and the house building stuff in RDR2, i think we're going to see us having the ability to build our own shack/houses etc, or at least have some say in the how they look, go and get materials etc.

I'm pretty sure I will wait until the next xbox comes out (if it ever does) to play this. Not too much of a fan so no FOMO for me.

* = Maybe. I'm still not convinced that it will arrive before another delay, but I'll be sure as shit happy if it does arrive then.

I guess so? I mean, I really don't care much -- I'll check it out because it's a big gaming event release but they could outright cancel it and it wouldn't affect me.

Not my cup of tea, so nothing to be ready for. But I am curious about the reception, good or bad, it will for sure be a spectacle.

A friend & I just went back to GTA V online & did our best to appreciate the openworld, tried to slowly look at everything & found so much attention to detail with tons of areas we never explored because we just zoomed passed them in our cars etc.

IM READY but doing that made me really content with the wait being worth it.

I liked GTA 1-3, 4 I couldn't get into

then I tried RDR 2 and hated it

I've put off GTA 5 as a result, but recently gave its chance on gamepass and I'm enjoying it more than I thought. I think it is much, much more fun than RDR2. it's a lotttt better than GTA 4 too.

if GTA 6 is even better than 5, then yeah it might be something pretty neat

I've been ready for 10 years.
I adore GTA but I've never played one at launch, I was always a pc dude until I got a PS4.
It's probably a bit sad to say this but playing this game on launch day is honestly one of the things I'm looking forward to the most in the near future.

I hope you go in for a night launch man. This game gonna set the world ablaze so its def gonna be a major event. I cannot WAIT to actually get in a line and have fun talking about the game while we wait.

And then come home and play the game and nobody knows much more than you do.. that is awesome man. A once in a lifetime event!

Won't happen unfortunately, no store does that in the small city where I live and driving for 2 or 3 hours to do it ain't really worth it. But I'll get the physical version obviously.
I'll take the day off, get some good sleep and then get the game delivered in the morning. Unless I get lucky and they deliver the game a day or two earlier than it is supposed to. One can dream.

Thats a bummer man but personally I imagine if there is even a Walmart or a Mediamarkt (not sure where ur from) or any store that sells electronics/games they might do a midnight opening!

I dont really care. To me GTA is a tech demo, i'll eventually play when it's cheaper for like 5h just to see it and be done with it.

Lol, no

It will be one if not the most polished gaming product.

Just like GTA V was extremely polished (maybe not fps wise but amount of bugs absolutely)

Why do you feel like this when Rockstar has shown time and time again they will not release a buggy early access pos?
I fear that GTA 6 will be considered too big to fail, and that will naturally lead to bad choices by executives. I just said the first stupid idea that got into my head. Since GTA 4 and 5 have been made, we got 2 generations of consoles, and 10 to 20 years of innovations in games. Many of them bad. I just hope that they won't fuck it up.

lol Love me some optimism. I'm expecting another delay of approx. 5-6 months. Might as well wait for the next-gen versions.

In the meantime, just give us the GTA IV:EFLC port already.

Trailers look great but a year? Hard to get excited this early. Also is current Rockstar as good as Rockstar was with RDR2?

I'm ready, but my hype for this game is well and truly burnt out.
This effect right here is a significant part of what happened to Duke Nukem Forever.
Sure it was a shit game, anyway. But people still buy shit games in large numbers if the excitement for them is high.
For Rockstar's sake, they should be keeping an eye on this.
