[Speculation] GTA VI could be delayed again

Nah, an actual release date means that the game is more or less done and they're just putting the final touches on it.

It's basically the same thing Nintendo did with Tears of the Kingdom by delaying it a full year just to polish it to perfection.

And still I wouldn't bet on it at all. Always take another delay into account.
 
End of 2026 written all over it.

Hopefully the industry will stop cowering in fear of this game and start announcing shit.

Otherwise that's 1.5 years more of tip toeing around the release of this.
 
Obviously. Any game scheduled for next year could be delayed. It's never a guarantee. Maybe they'll want to add something at the last minute

if it happens, its only cause xbox rushed a console out in time for launch, not because r* is going to delay their game to coincide with the follow up gen to the most poorly selling consoles xbox has ever put out.

From my understanding, Rockstar has 3,000 employees working on this game.

From GTA source channels that have been "in the trenches" as it gets with GTA content and sources, have said they keep their teams very compartmentalized, so one team doesn't know fully well what the other team is working on and/deadlines, etc..

This is to help curb fake rumors and easier to find all the moles if it should happen. It also makes it harder for accuracy and if something should leak, they know which team did it since they won't really know much about each other at the time of said leaks.

They can track timetables that way since the info would be old or on time team dependent by that time.

Whether all this is true, we can only speculate like every other "leak."

No, course not, more like Msoft wants to be the "best way" to play that generational game is all.
 
They should delay it so we can play a GTA 4 remaster. Otherwise 4 would steal 6 thunder. Too short notice. Make the best 6 possible (with 40fps) and give us 4 remastered in a few months.

My sources tell me they are retooling the game to make it online only game, and jason and Lucia are your mission givers in the online mode

Sorry story mode lovers.
 
If they do delay it again, I'm waiting for the pc release.

It's the straw that broke the camels back. I'm fed up of them jerking us off, delaying every game multiple times and releasing one title of note once a decade.

Maybe if he crunched on a few more investigative articles (which he is actually capable of) then he'd be a better journalist.

Have pretty good faith in where I get this from, hasn't steered me wrong on the progress of games in the past

A lot can happen in a year though
 
It wouldn't be a Rockstar game if they didn't delay it at least twice. I expect a delay again, no reason not to at this point. But, I am basing it off of past experiences. If it needs a delay, then do it. Make it the best it can be.
