Guess what I'm buying? An Xbox no 360

I recently sold my Xbox, and decided to pre-order an Xbox 360 but after much pondering, I've decided to rebuy one, and cancel my Xbox 360 pre-order so I can order it next year Do you think this is the right thing to do or just completely insane? Help me before I do something stupid.

I'm buying it and catching up on the Xbox, getting Half Life 2 (this November in PAL territories right?), getting some older ones and then I'll probably get Xbox 360 earlier next year when a few more games come out.
 
Yeah... there's some logic at play here. Xbox still looks the best of any current-gen system. The backward compatibility issues is still up in the air and the original Xbox has a huge library of games that you KNOW are good and don't cost $60.
 
Selling your Xbox only to buy another one soon afterwards is stupid no matter which way you look at it.

Yeah, it does some logical, I don't know about xbox 360 bc, if I did, I'd probably stick with it so I don't see the point now, plus I miss my old games :<
 
You might want to excercise some further restraint and wait for an inevitable price-drop or cherry pick one of the many second hand systems being sold at a good price in lead-up to the 360.

I don't see any madness in what you're doing. If anything, our hysterical fandom leads too many of us to join the new hardware before it's price and prospects warrant each other.
 
I'm selling an XBOX, PSTwo (new) and Gamecube if anyone is interested. Great deals.

Yeah I found some good deal second hand ones, so that would be good or I could wait, but I think I got caught up in the hype, there are plenty of good games I still need to play this gen.

It helped with things that are much more important than games so I thought I may aswell but now I have some cash left over.

I also have a PS2, Xbox, Gamecube (x2), and a NES top loader and some games I'm getting rid of. I need to stop being so lazy and put them up on ebay.
 
Dear diary...

Tomorrow I shall purchase another Xbox, in a bid to play a few of my older games and the upcoming Half Life 2 coming on November 18th, all stores near you, I really liked Half Life on PC so it's good that I will play Half Life 2 but I also want other games too but that equals too much money, games do cost so much nowadays!!

In other news, I have not shaved in a month now.
