So yes, the Dragon Ball event sucks, on that we can agree.
But good lord am I all about those packets. I snagged all 16 allotted for 16 gold, popped em' all, and hoovered up the metric ton of luck while still making an additional 13 gold of profit. Super nice padding to my bank account.

yeah that's the purpose of this event generally. Park a toon, pump him or her magic find, then open envelopes.

Everyday get 16, sell them, profit for nothing..easiest money in the game...takes 8seconds to buy and list on the TP.. if you looking for the Back Piece by the end of the event, made more than enough money to buy the parts needed to make it...or by the exotic version...

it does make me wonder why selling them in TP is much more lucrative, I guess people want more than 16 a day?

That's pretty much it. I'm happy with my 16, plus the tiny ones from running dailies. I have a friend that is one of those spreadsheet psychos that will chart out AH stuff, and he would not shut up yesterday.
He also would not shut up when I popped a Glossy Black dye from a kit last night and decided to keep it. Kid really needs a job in financing or something. Or maybe I'll introduce him to EVE.

TheSteamdriven.8239 is mine, I'll add whoever else posts when I get home from work tonight. I managed to sneak on this morning and knock out my dailies before heading in, so that was a plus.
I believe the silverwaste magic find only counts during opening the chests. Go to the PVP lobby instead for the greater call of the mists for an easy 200.
I'm holding envelopes until the last day so I only have to beef up on Magic Find once. Just gotta find out where I put my MF enrichment...

It's been a 2 week event the last two years.
I thought Perseverance still gave you normal MF but you don't get an extra bonus if you don't open a chest. You also get Hero of the Wastes after killing Vinewrath. Don't forget that your MF amulet doesn't work in PvP.
Yea you are right. I didn't decouple the Perseverance +30% from the "Bonus" Magic find.

On the plus side, this means that people are more common in the Silverwastes right now, so I'm getting some achievement stuff worked on.
Gah, I was out of town this weekend and totally forgot to post in here, sorry! Will be around to run some missions again this Saturday.

Will double check when I get in tonight. I was a bum yesterday and just hopped on to knock out the daily and get my New Year bags, then flopped back on the couch to watch more Clone Wars cartoons.
Oh yes, I was opening the envelopes while opening bandit chests, forgot to mention that crucial step. But yeah, why didn't I think of that instead lol.
Well quenk has a point on the Enrichment not working in PVP, so thats a net 20% loss in the PVP lobby if you have that, more if you are diligent enough to only open envelopes in the chest opening window, lol.

We tried once a few months ago and made pretty good progress, and then we never really made time for it again, but tonight we finally set aside an hour or so and five-man killed the first raid boss.

Goes without saying that this is very welcomed. GW2 has significantly increased the character customization options post release. So much so that I cannot think of any other MMO that has increased it by such a velocity.
Elona is significant. There are almost no video games that has a setting inspired by middle-earth / north african mythos, folklore and culture. I've always felt Nightfall was special for embracing this backdrop.

Nice, with the next episode set for the 7th they seem to be roughly settling into a 1-1.5 month cadence for some release or another even if it may be a recycled event. I wonder how many episodes they are aiming for in season 3 in total.

You mean 2 months to 2.5 months with this last one. A crack in the ice was in november. They still had holiday break and all. The curent speed has been 2 month ish

You could even think of it as "something to do in the off months" I guess- it's better than going a full month or more with no content release (as occurred post-episode 1 in July).

To be honest I was sure you were only refering to LS3 update, so my bad on that. Sure that seasonal event help fill some gap ... even if they're rehash of the last year event iteration, it is better then nothing. But it still doesnt beat new content.
Also, queen jubilee ( aka crown pavillon) hasn't been a thing since 2014
