High HP: Warrior, Necromancer
Medium HP: Ranger, Engineer, Mesmer
Low HP: Guardian, Thief, Elementalist
Heavy Armor: Warrior, Guardian
Medium Armor: Ranger, Engineer, Thief
Light Armor: Necromancer, Mesmer, Elementalist
Whoa, didn't know you get different sets of HP per class too. So does this sound right in terms of survivability? (HP+Armor) I have no idea how effective each armor set is.
Warrior
Ranger/Engineer/Necro/Guardian
Thief/Mesmer
Elementalist
I'll be flying solo again, so I'll be no doubt thankful for the company I'm going down Wednesday night till Saturday. You can no doubt watch me make a fool of myself again. I'll see if I can out do myself from last year: Asking Chet Faliszek from Valve how the development of Dota 2 is going while playing CS:GO. :V
He wasn't impressed
I currently have the TT ESports MEKA G1. While it might not speak to the entire series of keyboards the current one I own is rock sold, really well built and the function keys are handy.
Uh oh, unless this is a placeholder, looks like that hat everyone was bitching about earlier is actually going to be free.
and a warrior into a glass cannon if you wanted to
2127 base armor, 18317 base health ... how?![]()
Eschew toughness traits for power and precision. Without toughness you're pretty much going to go splat and fairly quickly.
Yes ... Come to the dark side ...Been reading extensively through this thread since yesterday. Was disappointed with the heavy emphasis on instancing in GW1, along with there being no dedicated server to choose and play in solely. Am now cautiously excited for GW2. Am about to pre-purchase, I think. Yes, this is the right decision to make....
Every time I scraped up the funds for a GMG purchase they were out of keys and when they got new ones there was this note on the page -
"PURCHASES ON OR AFTER 8TH AUGUST WILL NOT INCLUDE THE 3 DAY EARLY ACCESS OR ACCESS TO BETA WEEKENDS!"
I hadn't actually planned to buy Guild Wars 2 despite my interest because I didn't think for a second it'd run remotely okay on my computer, but I ended up getting a beta weekend key and being blown away by how fucking smooth it ran despite this being a machine that predates Windows 7's release.

The G510 a solid choice? Budget peaks at £50 and I can pick one of them up for around that (or less if I make do with a German keyboard layout).
Wait a week and then buy. Don't let the hype get to you. You won't be left behind by waiting and gathering more impressions since the nature of the game is to be inclusive from start to end.

The G510 is just a G110 with a screen, right? If so, I would almost suggest you pick up the G110 - it's cheaper everywhere I've looked and is the keyboard I've used for a year or two now. Then again, I'm prejudice against the screens on keyboards: I find that they are practically useless (at least with the way I use them).
"Wheres the OT?"
Probably waiting for midnight.
My response to posts like this prior to this week: If you're looking for something that eschews MMO tropes and offers something new while maintaining a persistent world with no monthly fees yadda yadda manifesto true style and choice and active combat blah blah more thingsBeen reading extensively through this thread since yesterday. Those are just QOL type changes... I would imagine numerical changes are separate, so Mending might well have been nerfed in the healing #'s department as a result. If those patch notes are true, other Mesmer players will be happy, and now Mending is probably too good. It was already consistent condition removal every 20 seconds, and now it won't be effected by poison in most instances.

Whenever I start the launcher to keep it updated, I always attempt to log in despite a) Knowing there's nothing to log into, and b) missing out on early access from my GreenManGaming copy so I'm double fucked.
You can't play GW2 in jail.

toughness is added to armor, and 2127 armor certainly isn't bad by any definition if you don't plan to tank it out
That's just the kind of guy Hawkian is though. He's willing to do ANYTHING to get others to play GW2. He is not a selfish man.
Unless I see "clones/phantasms/illusions now persist through the mesmer's target's death", I won't be rolling the class, ever. Trying the class out in BWE, that was the most frustrating thing to deal with and I just can't live with it.Nice buff for the Mesmers out there.
yay almost here boys and girls!
love your updates retro!
