You're all just jelly that the dirt is getting all that sweet hot Asuran action.
You're right. I want it to be my fist colliding with their faces. Why let the ground have all the fun?

Is there a chance that the new Nvidia drivers will be released today? Was hoping for the Nvidia enabled GW2 optimized drivers. I wanted to see how much better Kepler and Fermi cards would run the game!
It's getting really close. Uncomfortably close.;D

That stress test is today? Like, in 13 hours?

Will Stress Test progress count towards headstart / launch or will that get wiped as a standard test?

I'm tempted to make a big ass Norn on release day and just walk through the Asuran towns pretending I'm stomping them. In fact, we should all do that![]()
I am so looking forward to everyone hating me for being Asura. (not sarcasm) lmao
I don't get the hate. I played Asura in the BWE, and they're awesome.
That said, Charr are pretty god damn amazing.
Not exactly sure... but half the fun of being a little guy is everyone wanting to step on you!
So.. when`s the OT going up? Who's in charge of it?
The latest dev drivers are getting some praise if you are desperate.
One week before the game's release.So.. when`s the OT going up?

Yes.I'm sorry, I know this is an irritating question that probably has an answer in here somewhere, but I just wanted to ask whether the PvE aspect of this game is substantial enough to play the game for? I don't plan to ever PvP, how much of a value would the game be for me?

I've already done this in one of the stress tests!

I don't know what WvW is like, but I've participated in lots of PvP, including realm vs. realm in DAoC and it's just not my thing. I've never liked playing against other players.Well worth it. I will mostly play PvE and i know i will definitely get my money's worth
I wouldnt totally count out on WvW though since its quite a different beast than the PvP that you are probably thinking of.
It mostly deals with taking and defending castles and keeps with seige weapons and defending and acquiring supply to build those weapons
Super Smash Bros in Middle-Earth.I don't know what WvW is like

Honestly, each aspect of the game except for sPvP is enough to buy the game for alone, in my opinion. But there are people who are willing to spend $60 just for the sPvP alone as well, along with the promise or more modes being added to it.
It's really a substantial game.

Man, as a Paladin by heart I have my woes against the guardian - It looks a bit too support class for me. Normally I like fighting with the ability to heal myself and help my teammates, however I don't want to be the guy behind the lines handing out evians and cheering them on with the occasional spell. I don't want to pump in 20-30 hours into a class to be proven right either, that'd kill it for me.
Have I got the wrong picture of the guardian? Will it be that 'knight' character I'm hoping for or the cheerful support bot?

All the classes in this game are pretty capable at whatever role you want. That much isn't really a gimmick, they all have strong options in all the traditional roles. If anything I think the most prominent role they have found in the tournament metagame so far is defensive point control (i.e. being sturdy and having a lot of knockbacks and stuff to keep people back). If you're just talking about PvE you can certainly do whatever you want with a Guardian.
It depends on your weapons and traits. I've solo'd to LV14 with an aggressive Guardian and dealt a lot of damage with a Greatsword.Man, as a Paladin by heart I have my woes against the guardian - It looks a bit too support class for me. torch? As in a torch torch?![]()
As in I can light myself on fire and then throw a fireball at the enemy or breathe fire like a dragon torch.
