It has the same mindset as my setup, except where did you put the F# keys? That's what made my keyboard become a screw up.

Disabled double tap to dodge and assigned middle button/scroll wheel on my mouse to dodging.
Keys 1-5: Skills 1-5 unchanged from defult
A-D: Changed to strafe instead of turning character around
R: Heal(6)
Mouse 4: 7
Mouse 5: 8
Mouse 6: 9
Shift R: Elite(10)
Q: F1
E: F2
Shift Q: F3
Shift E: F4

That probably works fine overall if you have the mouse for it. For strafing, though, I use rmb+a/d. This lets me turn via keys if I need to while still letting me strafe/quickly turn using mouselook.

2-5: F1-F4 skills
6: Take called Target
Shift: Dodge

My skill usage requires that G700 mouse, or something with seven buttons at least.
A: Skill 1 (auto attack)
G5: Skill 2
G4: Skill 3
G6: Skill 4
G7: Skill 5
G8-G10: Utilities

Works extremely well. I never have to hit shift as a modifier for anything, which I always find awkward to do. My finger is always on my shift key for quick dodges when necessary, plus I never have to move my hand off my movement keys.

I use a Logitech G13 and G600. I have more buttons than I know what do with, and that's even ignoring the multiple modes and/or shift states on both. >_>

It does count for 'Daily Activity Participation' if you stick around until the timer expires and it resets (every 15 minutes I think) but that's about all. This, bell choir and mad king's tower are the only times I actually get that daily.

Yeesh, you have to do 20 laps for it to count to puzzle jump once?

Oh well, managed to nab 4 for the month anyway (4 dailies, the masterwork crafting, group event, event). The dolyak escort helps for the group event and events are easy to come by anyway, especially if you do a lot of activities. Masterwork crafting is very easy especially if you're a jeweler.

I appreciate your opinion but my circumstances are a a bit different. My mesmer is for WvW roaming. I use scepter/sword and sword/pistol; focus will be in my bag but I've got Traveler Runes. If I go for 15 Illusions, then my iSwordsman will be down to 12s but my iDuelist will still be at 16s with less range, I'll have less range and longer CD on Magic Bullet, and worse crit stats. Plus I don't need any of the adept Illusions traits. The only other possible benefit is if Illusionist's Celerity reduces the CD on Decoy, as I read somewhere but forgot to test. So I guess I'll stick with my build. Pretty strange to me to have a build with no Grandmaster traits.

W/A/S/D: Movement/Strafe
4-1: Profession keys. (I reversed them from 1-4 because I preferred using my pointer finger for classes like Warrior and Necromancer).
M5 (default forward button on mouse: Push-to-Talk
M4 (default back button on mouse): Skill 1
Q: Skill 2
E: Skill 3
R: Skill 4
T: Skill 5
5: Skill 6/Heal
6: Skill 0/Elite
C: Utility Skill 1
X: Utility Skill 2
Z: Utility Skill 3 (again, reversed for pointer finger preference).
Shift: Dodge
M3 (scroll wheel click): Swap Weapons

F: Interact
V: Call Target(with Ctrl)/Accept Target
Tab: Target closest enemy

Then I use the directional keys for Auto Run (up) and Walk (down) toggles. And 0 on the numpad is set for Stow Weapons for when I guard dolyaks and feel like imitating the guards.

If I remember correctly, guesting is account-wide, so technically you'll be guesting all your characters until you go back to your server.

I think you are in euro server if I'm not mistaken so sadly you won't be able to guest to a North American server.

I just started a gurdian too, I'm at level 38 right now and so far I've just picked weapons I like and made build around them but I don't think you should worry about builds till you are 80, because it takes awhile to unlock skills and traits.

Once you are there you can check out builds at www.intothemists.com under guides. The people who post them there are very thorough and even explain which skills to cycle for specific fights.

Bah, there's a crash bug with spectator mode so all spectator slots across all pvp servers got disabled. Which means that the Good Fights tournament that started half an hour ago got postpone by a month. Which also means that all custom servers are 8v8 or 10v10. Solo and Team Queues should be fine.

[GAF] GUILD SATURDAY NIGHT MISSION

Quite a big turnout:

Had a lot of fun doing the bounty (which melted in like 10 seconds), rush, mission, puzzle and general shenanigans.

Got to see this place for the first time, it's wow:
