There were some reported changes in the last location test so the patch note ASW released for loctest 2 isn't complete.
Let me know if I got this right, the next Guilty Gear update will be released in disc for 40 dollars with all characters from the previous ones and the 2 new characters??
Considering both previous iterations were 60 dollars each, that's quite the deal for GG fans.
This is true. I think the digital upgrade comes with all the previous DLC as well so if you have Revelator already but missed the DLC you're fine.
Don't know if that includes all the extra colors, announcers, etc.

I really hope these help make her more viable. Ram got crippled so quickly after release.

Wouldn't say she isn't viable. Hopefully those moves make up for taking out her nasty unblock-able though.

She's not unviable, but she's a lot of work for mediocre reward.
For the record, I don't play Ram. Raven is far scummier and easier to play.
Yea, she's a bit weak in neutral, but the moment she get a confirm she's actually pretty competent. One of the best corner carry and scariest corner pressure in the game, despite being low tier overall, in this game, those are still just one mistake, hard read or a stray counter hit away from taking the round.
Comparison to Raven is really unfair, he's the "least effort for most reward" character in the game. 😅

That's the Crux of the issue, though. Why learn​ a complex yet relatively weak character like character like Ram when you can use Raven, who right now doesn't even need to use what was supposed to be his main gimmick?
Sin can also be put in the category of low effort, high reward. Since he does enormous amount of damage with his good range normals/specials.
Raven is like the driest character in the game. His basic knockdown > fireballs mixup covers pretty much everything. He can go highs, lows, and snatch you with command grabs if you are blocking too much.

Yea, but it's really unfair for Ram because with Raven, that's even an issue when you play top tiers that are better than him on paper, since you'd still get more rewards for less effort.

To be fair, Raven's gameplan is getting more-complicated in Rev2no more 3-hit orb unless he has the first level of excitement, meaning his oki will be looser until he stances things.

Strangely I can utilize Ram gameplan much more efficiently than the more straightforward and easy characters like Jam or May,which require a faster paced rhythm. Though Venom is much harder.
In Blazblue too I prefer Rachel, despite hardly winning.
Everyone has a favorite they want back.

That is changing in Rev 2 though. His balancing factor is having the worst damage in the game.
It's not that Ram can't do good things, but, for instance, Millia, does almost everything far better than she does. You can't look at a character in isolation really. They should have left Ram closer to her launch state imo.

Guilty Gear characters are fucking awesome. It shouldn't surprise anyone that some people are still waiting or hoping for some vets. I've been a longtime Baiken and Anji fanboy, so I can finally jump in. Can't wait to try Answer and Jack-O too, though.
Might as well, there's not a lot of characters missing at this point.
