Guinness World Records Reinstates Billy Mitchell’s Donkey Kong High Scores

No, he didn't win in court. Twin Galaxies still isn't reinstating him despite what Guinness Book of World Records chooses to do.

I haven't been following this recently. Was he ever able to prove he wasn't running on an emulator?

Nonsense like this is why we need live competitions. Give each competitor 1 hour (or 90m, or 2 hours, or whatever) to make as many attempts as they want. Highest score wins. Have live "world championships" between countries.

It doesn't have to be complicated.

I'm confused. Why is he getting his scores back? Wasn't he doing it on emulator?

On the other hand, I do believe this guy has a lot of talent and could probably replicate his scores on real hardware?
