Pretty cool to see Nintendo push DK like this - with theme parks, a new AAA game, and a movie.

Seriously, cool for those excited for it, but the 2023 Mario film was not awful but just painfully average and insanely forgettable. The Sonic trilogy and Detective Pikachu are much better modern video game films.

Did anyone who saw the Mario movie think this wasn't happening?

Even Super Nintendo World at Disney is half Donkey Kong.

Give the new game a year or two to percolate - then bam! Classic Nintendo business savvy.

Nintendo are being pretty smart with all this exposure. You know there will be a 3D Mario game announcement to coincide with the Mario anniversary and new Mario Bros movie next year.
