10 year old me watching the premier of Endless Waltz on Cartoon Network while playing with my Tallgeese and Deathscythe. That's what this show reminds me of.
Bless

Care to share what would keep you from staying with this series?

It doesn't have much to do with the series itself. I don't watch a whole lot of shows. I barely caught up with Attack on Titan (after watching about four eps then stopping until the most recent ep). What I will most likely do is marathon episodes of this once the season progresses.

I just caught up with the first 2 episodes and am really digging this show!

Definitely excited for more Gundam, and the ending of Episode 2 definitely got me very curious ..

Just started watching this, I'm now desperately awaiting for the Burning Gundam to appear and show these fools how a real manly mecha fights.

God will end up getting cut up by a Re-GZ lol. Nothing is safe, nothing is BS........ until an awoken Turn A somehow loses to a Zaku 1.

I wish this would air on Western television because I miss Gundam being on the TV. Also, I miss the days of Bandai releasing figures over here.

I just finished the first episode, it was pretty good. I like how blue boy admits that he is a failure, so he gets red rocket, a boy who is ignorant of everything except for recycling, to use his Gunpla. The ending where he ends up in a bad neighborhood at night and has to run back to safety is great.

The only con is that Gyan is not stronger the Wing Gundam that is some bullshit.

The beginning of tonight's episode is simply incredible. You guys better look forward to it ahah

Gundam Build Fighters - 3
Ramba Ral is pretty great.
Takes kids to bars, though... Hmmm...
Fun as always. It is still so interesting to have the main character as a mechanic instead of a pilot.
Yay to getting a girl interested in Gunpla. :lol

Once again, a pretty solid episode. The series keep delivering IMO.

If you told me six months ago I'd be reacting like this I would have thought you were out of your mind.

Episode 3

This show is soooooo good. I think a lot of credit has to be given to the writing as well. It's a very self-aware kid's show, which doesn't drag or talk down much at all. Instead it's focused on expressing the fun and joy which kids would feel about the possibility of Gunpla battles being an actual thing. It's something I think any long time Gundam fan can relate to, regardless of age.

Tons of cameos this week, pretty good stuff. The character animation suffers a bit of a hit, but most of the mecha stuff still looks great. Some really fun match ups. :) I also like how Reiji basically confirmed what everyone already suspected, but no one believes him. Lololol.

Episode 3

Another good episode.

This show has really caught me off guard with how good it's been.

Wouldn't have believed it back when it was first announced, but if they keep up with the cameos and great fights, it will continue to be something special.

This show just keeps getting better! I love how Mr. Ral is just everywhere and knows everything about Gunpla Battle
despite using an outdated Gouf model
. He even has a small army of followers that hang out in a bar!

Bwahahahaha at the Ramba Ral's Zieg Seon moment. So cringeworthy, so good.

I hope the sneaked more of these shits in. May be even General Revil and "Zeon is Exhausted" speech.

So good.

Also what kind of person would run a Destiny Zaku gunner. Why why why?

What's wrong with the Destiny Zaku Warriors? I thought they were a pretty good redesign of a classic mobile suit. The Zaku Gunner was probably the cleanest and most practical design out of the bunch as well. Where does the hate come from?

One trick pony. I mean it could be good as a support unit, but solo? Get a Wing Gundam instead :P

Also, it marks you as a Destiny fan. You gonna get a paddlin'

Gundam Build Fighters Episode 3:

Dear god, more fan-service contained with this show then an entire season of Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai and less embarrassing to boot. Anyway, yes, this show continents to be a cut above expectations but I really can't say this is the anime of the season when the actual themes and structure are pretty standard merch anime fare, some big world tournament with friendships and love and rivalry and all that jazz forged through Gunpla; heart of the cards. Still, there is more then enough here to give this a full watch, such glorious 2D mecha action.

I'm not really a Destiny fan. I just don't hate things. I'm of the general impression that SEED as a whole fell off a cliff after episode 21 of the first series, but both it and Destiny still had a few good points.

Besides, I'm a sucker for good grunt mechs. Main hero mechs are over-exposed. While I think the Wing Gundam is an awesome mech (it was one of my aces in SRW Z2.1), I am actually a big Leo fan. The Leo is seriously one of the best grunt mechs in the Gundam franchise. I really hope a Leo does something awesome somewhere in Gunpla Build Fighters.

I guess the show's settled into a groove now, no more jaw dropping fights every episode, they're probably saving their animation spunk for climatic showdowns.

Hehe I was just joking, yeah I would love to see some Leos and a Mercurius/Vayeate combo.

I am disappoint that there isnt more GM love. D: Used to collect almost every GM model and related mass production type of federation units lol. Though love how Ranbal Ral is in the show. Hilarious.

Used to play the shit out of the arcade game Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna using a GM command only when I finally unlocked it, good times. But brings back trauma of going up against an ace pilot on the other side who was piloting a Gouf when I was still in the generic mass production GM.

Blue Destiny Unit 1 is basically a custom GM. Though yes, so far there's definitely been way more enemy grunts than allied grunts shown.

Everything about this show has been very good so far. I only wish this could be a real product, some cross between Kinect and nfc Skylanders style would own my wallet.
