That Perfect Gundam III entrance was so over-the-top and I loved every single moment of it. Meijin stronk!

This has easily been the best battle of the series thus far because the main characters actually didn't stand a chance or asspull their way to a win against their foe. Hell they didn't even pose a real threat to him.
 
It's the flower regeneration that really gets me. It's like, the engine has a flag for regenerating organic life.
 
That flamenco, when that started playing I knew shit was about to go down.

Also, whose revolvers are those the antagonist was using? I thought they were from Maxter but I remember now his guns look a bit different.

Well we're talking about a civilization that has clearly devoted all of it's R&D money to gunpla.
 
Team try scrubs getting rekt. So good, but today is a glorious day for the true gundam jesus has returned decending from the sky in his bright mecha of glorious crimson red at six times the hype of normal flamenco. Praise to the meijin. Praise to obari for delivering us this goodness.

Caught up, had like 3 episodes of a backlog for some reason and I'm glad I did it now, cause that Perfect Gundam III entrance was the icing on the cake. I'm not sure I can rewatch this show at the end without getting some sort of heartattack from all the awesome moments this series has. I honestly thing a lot of it has to do with a great soundtrack that's well used at appropriate moments.

I've gotten my GF watching the show, mostly because of the punch shit approach the new series has for it.
I also think my GF got me the Gouf for Christmas~
I think she has a crush on Niiiiils Nielsen...

donkey's response is funny but that actually is probably what happened, lol. He loved Japanese culture so much that when presented with the chance to officially become Japanese he did. Even got a Japanese last name to show it. =o
 
Really great episode. This is honestly what they should've been doing 4-5 episodes ago to start building believable rivals for the Nationals Tournament, but better late than never. Awesome new suits, great fights and new rivals. Everything I asked for finally comes to pass.
 
This was perhaps the best episode of the show so far. Actually, by far.

I liked seeing Try Fighters getting their asses handed to them. I just realized that while we all joked last year about punching being how every fight ended they gave the new main unit an add-on for an even bigger fist, it's just ridiculous. No technique or anything.

Also that Red Warrior Gundam is fucking dope. I need a model kit of it. Is there one coming out for it?

I feel it'll be good, it terms of hype-ness, up to episode 12 and maybe 13 (if 12 is a cliffhanger), then drop down until the end of the series.

I think there will be some cool stuff for a little while. We've introduced 3 new rival teams (Yuuma's rival, the Zaku Team and the team watching the fight at the end). Not all of them will lose first round, so we'll probably have a few great fights there. Hopefully we get one or two others built up actually at nationals as well. If they can pull off all those fights well, they should have a pretty great 2nd half for the show.

I'm assuming we'll see a modded Cosmos with its Plavsky energy sphere and like, winged gates and energy funnels and a Psycho-Frame and Jesus will be giving a thumbs up in the background.
 
While I love the show, I don't see whats so awesome about Perfect Gundam. It looks like generic Gundam thats red. Whooooooooo...

It's from the spiritual predecessor to Gunpla Builders and Build Fighters called Plamo-Kyoshiro. It was his upgrade and based off the G-3 variant of the RX-78. It's not so much a super cool design (though I think it's pretty good) but a great homage to a previous series. It also fits because Yuuki is the 3rd Meijin and it's primarily red which is Yuuki's favorite color.
 
Anime ja nai sing-a-long made me so happy, everyone.

Seems like we're really getting into it now. Can't wait to see the next ep.
 
I keep wondering when or if Build Burning will get completely demolished and Sekai will be forced to find a replacement. The show kinda sidesteps the issue of gunpla damage and repairs with the reduced damage setting, so Sekai never has to build/repair his own gunpla, just like that lazy bum Reiji.
