Episode 11

Damn, it's nice to see the old characters finally returning to the story now. Hopefully the drama and battles in the second half of the series is way better now that there are actual rivals and stuff. Saga has a pretty cool villain mech, but damn that Red Warrior looks awful. They couldn't come up with a better looking mech for Tatsuya? Really? Perfect Gundam... more like perfectly boring. :P

maybe trans-am counts? and dark matter was kinda red.

If trans-am counts as red then all 00 units are red! Though that does make me wonder, do the trans-am edition of 00 run at trans-am the whole time?

Well, there was Gundam Exia Dark Matter.

That's a black unit, though. It would be like saying that Turn a is a blue unit because of its chest.

Yeah, but that's the one he built himself. The two Yuuki used later on weren't built by him as I recall.

Maybe the Kampfer, but it looked like he was heavily involved with the construction of the Exia Amazing. Plus he had a white Hi-V Gundam in the prequel manga.

Based Obari-sama.

That was a hype episode.

I just love how no one fucking sees people jumping into the battle. Its always a surprise hah.

That Saga dude took down 6 people and will only be stopped by the Meijin. Hes pretty OP. Fun to see JIGEN HAOOHHH RYUUUUU not doing shit this episode.

Had to laugh at Meijins slow ass entrance bringing plants back to life though lol. Was the anime ja nai thing in the beginning a reference to something?

ZZ Gundam. Go watch it now.

ZZ Gundam's OP.

Amazing! episode! ;P

I like the implication that Sekai and Hoshino are watching Gundam ZZ together at either of their houses, hence the sing along they had going on. Add dat ship tease nice and stealthily.

The fight was really well done and Sekai was stopped cold even with his giant fist.

Junya is gonna be Sekai's rival, can't wait to see his own Jigen in action. Maybe a Master like Gundam?

I can't get over how skinny her arms are compared to the rest of her.

Finally caught up with episode 11 and it's nice to see this is where the show finally gets good and stops squandering its potential. I was starting to get tired of how easy it was for the team and the lack of strong competition so this was fantastic. I loved how the three of them just jumped in unannounced and were completely trounced. Can't wait for The End to get the HG treatment so i can purchase it straight away.
For Yuuma that day 2 years ago when he was challenged to a Gunpla Battle said:

It's going to be great when they find out it wasn't even Saga, Yuuma fought two years ago but someone even stronger.

Meijin vs Yuuma next episode? another ass kicking imminent.

I keep wondering when or if Build Burning will get completely demolished and Sekai will be forced to find a replacement. The show kinda sidesteps the issue of gunpla damage and repairs with the reduced damage setting, so Sekai never has to build/repair his own gunpla, just like that lazy bum Reiji.

They have to sell more Gunpla so...

Well they realised they couldn't beat that Exia from last season, so why even bother!

Yup. Sei will probably show up with a replacement at some point and teach Sekai the art of building Gunpla.

Or maybe Sekai will get someone to build/repair for him. Just like Domon had Rain repair the God Gundam for him.

Blah after Sudou and his Mega Shiki debacle I'd rather he actually built his own but I think that's wishful thinking. He'll probably inherit the actual God Gundam from the Domon that appears in the OP, no construction necessary. It would have been nice to have seen him start tinkering with Build Burning after the episode he built the SD Gundam.

I really enjoyed all the downtime in the last series just showing Sei and others build their Gunpla.

It would be cool if he built his own but there's no way it would be believable that he'd be able to become an expert world championship-level builder in almost no time.

Then again though, this show isn't exactly about being believable so who knows!

Edit: Or maybe Yuuma will end up building him an upgrade.

There's no way he's going to build his own. The way in which this show effectively allows Fighters to 'outsource' their Gundam construction means there's no need for him to become a great builder. If you'll recall, Reiji learned the basics of Gunpla construction as well, but he was never going to build the an amazing machine. It was just to learn the show of Gunpla construction so that you, too, will buy some god damn Gunpla.

Yeah, I remember that. Still thinking that Sei will show up with an upgrade at some point. Honestly I think all three of them are going to get an upgrade later on.

I think it would be awesome if he cobbled together something last minute that was like a mix between God Gundam, Exia Repair and Kenshiro from the first Hokuto no Ken film lol

I'm just picturing a scene where Yuuma and Fumina are in trouble and Sekai appears in his new suit kinda like this scene but with some JAM Project blaring in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwkveulfDz4

I'm setting myself up for disappointment i know. Apart from the SD episode they've shown absolutely zero intention in expanding his interest in Gundam outside of battling.

I just hope they focus on the aspect that Sei is relying way too much on the build quality of the Build Burning Gundam and that when we start using the model damage he's going to be fucked because no one else can repair it. I'm not the only one that thinks he would've straight up lost his fight to Minato if his Destiny Gundam wasn't a stock/straight box build by an 8 year old amateur, right?

Either Sei will show up or Sekai will inherit the Burning God Gundam (also built by Sei) from his master that's a Domon cosplayer.

yeah pretty underwhelming. wouldn't haven't even noticed a difference if it wasn't mentioned lol.

give me a kitted out god gundam :(

Well it is noteworthy that Winning is now
Star Winning Gundam and has a Star Build Strike style backpack. Sei Iori to make an appearance soon?

Well the upgrades for the Try team suits has been revealed by a magazine scan.

I'll just post the link to the image if you want to be spoiled:

Link:

Try Burning- Full modification, new kit
Lightning Full Burnen- No change to the Lightning itself, but new backpack
Star Winning- Full modification, new kit

All three are February releases

That's a pretty boring upgrade honestly. Still no gauntlet that goes over the burning's hand is disappointing. No chest opening either. It just has more of those little blue light up parts and that's it.

So Sekai will be inside Fumina before the season is done.

It was worth getting these shit upgrades just for this post lol

I bet Gyanko will have a better looking suit than the main three. Whatever Minato builds will crap on Yuuma's mediocre Lightening as well.
