Watching them stall out this episode with more reactions, cliches, and backstory just reminds me how poor a job they're doing of setting up future fights. There's no meaningful interaction between these characters and their opponents before the episode where they battle, and then the episodes themselves are devoted exclusively to that particular pair of teams. The show has its hype moments in battle, but it has done a terrible job of layering multiple plot lines in each episode.
Gundam doing the Dempsy roll gives me a hard one.
did neo accidentally predict Star Winning and real mode?
This was just complete trash. Like why the fuck didn't they set any of this up earlier? No some five second cameos don't cut it. Why didn't they use the ample amount of dead space in the first half to set any of this up?
Then we have the jobber fights which is just straight up bad. At least the original GBF tried to make the stuff interesting or exciting. Here they straight out don't care.
What the different of this episode from Meijin vs Supposed-tobe-Meijin in S1?
And I liked both.
it's not just dempsey roll, it's the whole Ippo combo, liver blow, followed by gazelle punch, followed by dempsey roll. it's awesome. hahahah
is it?
IS IT
Also I have an itch to build this....

Mobile suit Gundom? Where's that from?
Does anyone have images of that unit the second Meijin was building before his coma?
The F91 Julian uses from GBF?
That was one of the weaker episodes in the first season. Even then, they at least set up Meijin's internal complications and the sacrifices he had to make long in advance. The Meijin issues were long running at that point. Not to mention that the rival wasn't an edgemaster.
Edit: Also the reason Julian(I had to look it up) wasn't mentioned was that he was brought in way late to the tournament.
That may be it! Actually I don't think its the unit. He was never officially. Meijin right? Wasn't he air to the second?

no, that simply old Julian gunpla. not Second Meijin one.
this one is Gunpla that Second Meijin is building
I've always wondered how gundam could do acrobatics. It made sence with G, but with BF world the controls are just two orb thingies.
I think it's from the series with Norris

That SD dragon kit looks... rather underwhelming. I think I'll skip picking that up.

Finally Wednesday is here! New episode tonight!
And the Star Winning kit will be out this week. I think I'll pick up two.

well now I'm at the cart page looking like an idiot. ah well I'm going do it anywaysLol, one for my brother. Maybe I'll keep mine in the mode he doesn't keep his in though!
So I"m getting these cutters and I wanted to try doing the black line thing soMay I suggest these cutters?

Or any from that brand, honestly. They're a bit on the more expensive side, but they do the work of cutters on the super expensive $30+ side. The flush cut blades on these guys is invaluable and they cut plastic like butter. You'll save yourself a lot of work just by investing in nice cutters up front.
from this I'm going to get these pens. does that sound good? anything else I'd want?Considering you're just starting a sharpie/Gundam Marker/ink pen and a rubber eraser are all you need. Just go along the groves with the ink pen and fix any mistake/remove excess ink with the eraser.

actual painting might be going over the laziness border for me. I think the next thing I'd be willing to do is sand the little nubs after clipping themThey should get the ob done. Just those and an eraser are all you need. You might want to pick up some gundam/tamiya markers if you want to add painted details to a kit.
