Single Ladies and Crazy In Love are probably Beyonce's only "iconic" songs. Irreplaceable was a huge hit but I wouldn't call it iconic, personally.

I'm not sure we'll look back and say she had a truly classic/iconic album like a Prince or Whitney Houston.

Maybe Kendrick can revive his career like Jay did with WTT.

went through PT3 a couple of times, don't dislike any songs (even the riff raff one). the production is great and spitta is on point with most of his lyrics.

would love to hear an all day remix with kendrick

Can't wait to see what Frank Ocean has cooked up. Curious to see what direction he'll go in sonically this time around. Hopefully it is a bit more lively than Channel Orange.

this leaked too http://vocaroo.com/i/s0OCm36zFniD

Is that a Kanye track? Doesn't sound anything like TPAB.
The fuck is happening? I bet we'll get an All Day remix and that's all though. Don't see more than one collab happening.

So are Americans finally giving UK Grime a chance now? Only AFTER the US artists realise its a force that you can't ignore.. psh I've come here before trying to talk grime but no one bothered for it, now Kanye, Drake , Virgil etc backing your ears perk up. Ah oh well, atleast its getting some worldwide exposure now.

Musically its quite different, it came out UK electronic genres like garage, 2step, drum n bass, dub, jungle. As there are a lot of dance music elements in Grime, there are many club nights here that play instrumental grime. Quite big in the "UK Bass" scene as we all it here. Here's some classic grime instrumentals a lot of people use to have on their phones back in the day and bang on the bus! Many freestyles were spit to these, but please note Grime is not just "UK rap".:

Would love a Grime thread, that included the recent upsuruge in modern grime instrumental and vocal aswell but don't the thread would really get much activity.

yall jumping the shark, neon icon showed us Riff could at least be on beat, but on PT3 he shows us that the homeless guy on Mr Wonderful could probably spit a hotter 16

Been running back PT3 like crazy. Bangs like crazy in the whip. I hadn't had that 'hit-you-right-in-the-emotions-you-can't-quite-describe' moment I usually get with the best of Spitta until this morning. I got a big review coming but i'll just say that while it's largely positive, i don't really think of this as a Pilot Talk album when I listen to it. More on that tonight.

I'm so bitter right now.

Those bonus tracks off of the deluxe edition of Beauty & The Beast are plain. I'm glad they weren't on the initial release. They would've held down the album.

Not yet. I've now heard all three Pilot Talks and Covert Coup. Covert Coup may be my favourite, but PT 1 and 3 are great as well.

Have Cigarette Boats and Stoned Immaculate on tap for today (pretty slow week at work lol).
That's a good opinion. I do want some more Spitta/Alc. Interesting to see somebody digest all of it at once. Social experiment.
Oh damn, another Mink Rug? Dope.

cigarrette boats is like currensy on his 100% michael mann flow. if it were double the length it might beat out covert coup imo.

Stoned Immaculate, ehh. It's good but in a pretty generic way. if you're going Spitta catalogue dive i'd rather bump Jet Files, Smokee Robinson, Return to the Winner's Circle, This Ain't A Mixtape...

But then again I liked Verde Terrace which nobody talks about, so.
