All 3 7-11's here (Merced, CA) are now selling their copies of Halo 2 for $29.99 as a "Christmas Special". No idea if this is nationwide or not....

I know.....I know...it's 7-11, but still.... it's a damn good deal.

Good also in Fresno, but i think that you have to spend 25 bucks on food or gas... But the sign is deffinatly up and they did have a few copies.

Yeah, Halo 2 is being sold in literally every place cash is accepted. 7-11s have been advertising this game to high hell. I think that helped get non-gamers to see it. I just find it rather scary. Soon, I'll be purchasing consoles at my local McDonald's.

7-11 in Japan has been selling games for years now, it is interesting to see many of the little quirky aspects of Japanese gaming hitting the American mainstream (ie. LE versions of games, 7-11, etc.).

I think it's being sold here in 7-11 because they got some dealie going with Halo 2. 7-11 had collectable Halo 2 cups too, and some contest where you can win a copy of Halo 2 around release date
