I'm guessing you don't play much Team Snipers, but even then you should have run into it countless times if you've played the game much at all.

It's where you exploit the game in a certain manner and jump 8 billion feet in the air and can steer yourself into very high parts of the level where you were never intended to go. It gives you an excellent vantage point to shoot people, though many of the spots you can jump on are very open and you can be easily shot. Of course, people have to be LOOKING UP to see you at which point they're easy game for the rest of your team, and some of the spots are so high and/or provide such good "cover" that it can get really ridiculous if someone that is competent does it.

In terms of features, a huge FAQ is supposed to go up the day before the Beta starts, so I'm not counting on much new information between now and then.

I'm glad my attention span isn't long enough to be affected by cheaters. I played Halo 2 every day, for hours a day, for a month. Back when it was pure. I looked up a few months later and found the community was complaining about standbys and wall glitches and a million other problems. Cheaters ruin everything. Better enjoy the Beta and first few weeks after H3 comes out because everything will be different when cheaters figure out how to ruin everyone else's fun.

Would this stil apply to the Xbox360 version of Xbox Live (with zones and all)?

Pressing bxb quickly will result in a double melee. Pressing BxR (Timing this is a bit harder) can result in an instant kill. You punch, hit x to skip the animation, then fire, which will (in most cases) put your reticule near his head or on it, and result in a really fast punch+shot to the face with a BR.

Thats gonna be cool. yeah the alpha/beta comparison will be interesting. i think what we are seeing in this leaked vid is pretty much alpha. I believe that the 3 maps we will get to play will be much better looking than this and more detailed. I mean there is a reason that this remake isn't in the beta. its not progressed as well as the others.

Surely Bungie's competent enough to keep the Bubble Shield from attaching to vehicles. An exploit like that would be ****in' ridiculous.

Then again, the video showed someone knocking the shield down below using a grenade, so I dunno. People can get pretty creative.

MS should allow you to record a clip of them glitching, then file a complaint with the clip attached. BAM 3 day ban first offense. Second offense gets you 5. They will ALWAYS find glitches, FEAR of being banned for using them is the only thing that will stop them. If you can prove it with videotape, why even give 4 chances? 1st should be a week ban, second a permaban. Don't even **** around with them.

You say this like there's a magic patch button, but they're too lazy to press it. Some things just cant be patched without completely screwing up the game. That's the whole reason why the animation cancels/superjumps are still there. You can't get rid of them without redoing the whole engine.
