Even if you plan to try and take the final hit it's still a bullshit way to give out the reward points, this just means that every time a high points boss spawns the dice is rolled and luck is how you win.
 
I'm trying to get every rank in game to Onyx at least, and hopefully end the month with Champion in Slayer.

Forgot how much I hate playing solo. Complete trash. :(

Currently Diamond 5 in Slayer.
Diamond 4 in Arena.
Diamond 2 in breakout.

I'll save Breakout for last. Game type makes me want to quit Halo.

Finally finished my 10 arena games and was placed in gold 1. I don't even know what that means lol. I'm very surprised though how much I'm liking arena. It's really good, ready for BTB to come back as well.

That match was sweaty as all hell. The first match on truth they played super aggressively, it caught us off guard. Second match? Teamshots for days. Punished them for that aggro play.

Boo, my premium REQ packs sucked. Got a Light of Urs fuel rod certification, a rocket launcher certification, an Ad Victoriam rocket launcher certification, a chest armor and an assassination. Nothing past rare.
 
Started a game, dude left at 1-0

The other 2 team mates left at 11-14

Stuck with it, lost the game 28-41 after getting tea bagged heaps, yum.

It's fun to disconnect!

For me the KDA is worthless now. I have never been a great K/D guy. My lifetime Halo average is 1. TO me as long as I am having fun playing, and I am winning games, my K/D is a minor stat.

Yes, to my knowledge. We are also getting remixes of Fathom and The Rig, which will count towards that number. I think it is 18 now though...

It is based on Wins. Win you rank up. Lose you rank down. You lost here so you ranked down. Working as it is intended to work. It is a team based game, not a solo effort. It is like John and Blue team during their first day in boot. John was the first across the line, but his team was last, so no one from his team ate the delicious turkey dinner. Same concept here. No turkey for you.

These packs are such a mixed bag - would suck to spend the extra money and just get uncommons which is totally possible

The more I think about it the less I like the req system - the fact that its so deeply tied to what I think is a flawed game mode in warzone probably doesn't help me there lol

I would actually really enjoy warzone if it had more content though - I just wouldn't want that content to come at the sacrifice of other arena content
 
I might pick this up along with Tomb Raider for the $25 off promo at Best Buy. Let me get this straight though. Is the campaign any good? I'm hearing that the campaign is actually fantastic, but the story is crap.

I found the campaign lacking in both gameplay and story personally - the Prometheans just aren't fun to fight - it's fairly short and yet still quite repetitive

For long term halo fans the multiplayer ia far better than it has been for a few games though

I love Warzone. So I guess that's why I'm not bothered by the RNG haha. Doesn't seem flawed at all to me.

Only applies to games where you spawn with the weapon. So far DMR it's only warzone AFAIK.

i loved the campaign, had a great time with it.

story wise it fizzles when it should be ramping up

I think exactly because it is a team based game he shouldn't be punished as much for losing here. He goes 13-5, a couple team mates go 2-6.... And it's his fault the team lost? It should at least consider that you're going into matchmaking solo and the difference in KD on your team and the effect that would have on the team doing well. You shouldn't be fully punished for the game matching you with people that perform that far off from you.

The campaign is great. The story is great,
but pulls heavily from the Forerunner Trilogy in the last act fyi
.

The best soundtrack in a Halo game.

It also has some excellent cutscenes.

Mine is 1.0 even when I only played Warzone for like 48 Hours and barely any Arena...

I'm sure he's never had a bad game like that. It all balances out in the end. If you put an actual Diamond/Onyx level player in a Bronze/Silver game of Breakout, they could probably get 20 kills and not die. Going 13-5 against low tier players isn't actually that impressive if you consider yourself to be in the wrong division, IMO.
