Time to bump my GAF thread with your post content here mate, I'm about to make another post in it again too. It's way out of hand. The fact we can't even get official support anywhere is total bullshit. I'm gonna ask a bunch of buddies to test it (again) solo and party wise tonight too. I'm almost certain we'll get more data showing it's fucked again, mates know the state of Aussie Halo and have for a long time. It's why they just play other games for the most part.

Away from forums potentially there is something going on in the background for our issues and this may just become a highlighted issue in the wider gaming public eye very soon. 343i/MS I'd suggest you start communicating, I know y'all read all the forums consistently. Give me a phone number or an email address and deliver some actual support. Shit drop a press release - "we know it's fucked we're working on it".

Imagine an ex forum moderator at Waypoint likely to get banned over there because I'm that frustrated at the sustained issues for weeks/months and no avenue of support. Christ MCC and now this. WTF. Fuck if I ran my company this way I'd be out of business. Total joke, and I love MS tech.

I know there's workings on in the background and mum's the word but why they don't just communicate transparently is beyond me. It's 2016, be open and honest is all we ask. I've moderated your forum for 1-2 years, I know how little official replies go on over there. It's plain to see historically if you care to look through the Waypoint support/general forums, very little is communicated in the public space.

Shortly after the critical tactical failures that resulted in the loss of so many lives the Avenger was intercepted by a UFO. We encountered a distortion field that forced the Avenger to land. A fireteam consisting of nearly every GAFfer on the Avenger charged into combat against endless waves of enemies.

The objective: Destroy the generator for the Distortion Field, return to the Avenger's ramp and liftoff without letting an enemy board the ship.

The following Spartans participated in the battle:

I managed to fix my issue by starting a custom game on my own, tried matchmaking again after that and got a game straight away, then another and another etc.

All against Americans mind you, getting sniped by a shotgun is pretty infuriating.

I'm no fan of the jetpack. Been playing the Reach campaign a bit, which I love, but the controls are really hard to go back to after H5.

Controls aren't that bad if you always run with defaults/Halo 4 style. Halo 3 with its dual wielding reloading has always been the worst for me, which is where MCC's universal control scheme was so revelatory.

Yeah, no matter where you are, there seems to be some Server side issues. It's quite frusterating and confusing tbh.

Because it's "just" a subset of Slayer. Albeit taken to the far end of a dial. Whereas something like CTF changes objects, rules, etc.

And audio is surprisingly bulky, so in places where you can safely save on the stuff loaded into RAM, you should.

It's just random, I got games tonight. Felt like a snail in arena or WZ, usual disadvantages apply when you're 200ms down the hole. High latency on FFA still there, amongst other issues.

I hope they go into more details about the MM preferences on stream although I doubt they will (does it region lock, etc). This is the one thing I really really want to work well. If I choose focused and still get matched vs EU 4 stacks. . . . . . .

I'm still surprised they are linking skill with the preferences though. The refusal to give us a connection focused social arena playlist sucks so much.

I'd like to see that as well. I really hope the settings help. I'd hate for them to be how they were in Reach. They seemed to do nothing there and search times were the same. I'm willing to wait quite a bit longer to play a WZ match with similarly skilled players.

I have a friend who often experiences lag when playing Halo 5. He didn't have this issue back on the 360, but for some reason he lags terribly every now and then. He tells me his internet everywhere else throughout his house works fine and its only with Xbox One multiplayer games. Anyone know any remedies to this issue?
