Halo 5 Multiplayer Coverage! (no campaign spoilers)

They have made the correct choice of AR/mag starts. Spawning with a BR or DMR would be... boring? They are actually useful mid-tier weapons. Like I see no reason to pick up a storm rifle or the promethean AR. The BR, DMR and light rifle are all viable, yet not fought exactly fought over like power weapons. It actually adds more variety to gameplay in a good way for once.

Though I would be for a BR gametype thrown in arena, kind of like Halo 3.

Also BTB should be BR starts, with DMRs on the map.

No, I agree. Being tied to the archaic release schedule of older media is really annoying. Hell, releasing Friday at midnight would still be OK for the network team that has to make sure this doesn't catch fire and burn down the cloud since it would have gone live Thursday and they would be playing medic on the servers right now.

If anything, id even take a Thursday. Arent people in general in a "better and more likely to spend mood" at the end of the week thus more likely sales? I dont understand why a Tuesday. Thats the worst part of the week, the beginning.

Why does everyone keep doing this? Im absolutely positive that companies would make more sales at the end of the week. Everyone is in a good mood on a Friday. Hell, my best days as a salesman back in the days were Thursday to Sunday. Not fucking Tuesdays... I dont get it.
 
I have the game and have played campaign but I'm not allowed to play online. If anyone could help me out I will love you.
 
That map looks actually pretty good.

And wow at the Ultra Ghost. It shoots Plasma Round which explode and do splash damage. Basically an incredible Ghost.
 
I can already tell war zone is gonna be frustrating when you have teammates who just act dumb or have no idea what to do.

Like if a boss spawns, wouldn't it make sense to spawn a vehicle of a rocket etc( if you have the points of course), instead of spawning a BR

BRs don't cost REQ points like rockets do. They just require your REQ level be high enough.

Raiding is the only reason to play Destiny anyways. Although I imagine I would still prefer the Destiny gunplay to Halo 5's (if I ever get to compare them). If only Destiny pvp was more similar to Halo 2 or 3

Yeah I meant level when I said points. I've been seeing even from earlier that people aren't using the fuel rod cannons, Spartan lasers etc. they're sticking with the standard stuff

These Assault Warzone maps look like the normal variants just cut-off at some point. Are they all just remix variants of existing maps?

If so, the map count is actually even more disappointing.
 
Warzone assault seems pretty short. They don't even have time to spawn the big guns.

Edit: Wow that were a lot of req points. Looks like a good mode to farm them.

Yup, saw both the ARC and Stormbreak variants. I guess the city Warzone map didn't even make the launch cut.

Lol, I love that the Pistol is good again, but I didn't want it to weigh so heavily for the same reason I didn't want BRs or DMRs dominating in the past.

This is just the beginning, though. So things could even out between the AR/Pistol and other map pick-ups as more people play.
 
Normal war zone looks fun but I'm not liking warzone assault too much. The extra element of the AI makes it more interesting to me
 
Is warzone 720p?

One thing which looked weird was when the spartans were starting in the vehicle they had this white shine to them like they were glazed or something, it looked really strange.
