Winning still matters as well though. And after your placement, winning is the only thing that will count, so maybe hold off if you know you play bad with randoms.

Does it matter that much? Juices claims he won all 10 matches, but he was placed in silver.

Oh, I know. I just want to be able to jump into Arena without trying to get a full team.

I am pretty confident in my Slayer abilities to just do the 10 games by myself, but certainly not patient/understanding enough of playing with idiot randoms after getting the initial rank.

Onyx, I'm coming for you baby.

Im sure its been answered before but is that 9. GB MP update already able to be installed, or does that happen at midnight? Just curious, thanks for the help!
 
bunny hopping between twitch streams while I wait until midnight and on one stream a spartan just soaked up a direct hit railgun in arena without death, only shields were lost.

not a 100% insta kill with the railgun now?
 
This opened up on from the Russian market at 8pm, god this game is good. Gone straight into multiplayer and it feels awesome. The sound is absolutely amazing.

Just hope the maps have enough longevity to them.
 
Warzone is quite confusing at first since there's no real map to see where you are, but after two matches i'm feeling better about it, the ice map is nice.
 
Cool, my xbox kicked me out of an online match to tell me that I can update to the beta NXOE, why could it not wait another 10 minutes!

I'll stop for tonight but the game is fun, trying to get used to the no aim assist again, warzone is a fun mode but something about it feels like it's a rushed mode but that's good because arena is the real meat and veg for me and it's already shown how good it can be in the beta last year.

Rushed? It seems to me like Warzone got the lions share of their focus. Arena is great, and it where I'll be, but Warzone has a tone of polish and is well though out considering how chaotic it can be.

It's just how I feel about it, maybe it did have more time then arena stuff.

Oh last night I used the random vehicle (rare) card and got a mongoose with twin grenade launchers on it, lol was funny. I had no idea this game had those kinds of projectiles as no weapon so far shoots bouncy grenades outside of the plasma caster thingy.
 
I've played Regret a bunch, but no Truth :(. And I thought Orion wasn't in the Slayer playlist, just Team Arena. Played Orion three or four times. Got four of my first games uploaded but Youtube still hasn't processed them in 60fps, the bastards! So I'll post them later when they fully process, until then bed time!
 
Last post for a while :P this is the Nightfall armor you get from watching Halo Nightfall which came with the MCC, it's very ODST so I love it.

Warzone is great with a competent team, but watching people peek and pop doorways to bases that need captured for 30 straight minutes is brutal.
 
All these streams are starting to make me regret selling my One. Although, I don't know anyone with a One, so it'd be pointless anyway.

Game looks great, multi especially looks much better than Reach/4.

Completed a warzone match but the end results were unable to be retrieved, why was there not a local scoreboard for me to look at???

*edit* happened again, can't see end of game results because it failed to pull the data after a match...
 
Played several hours of war zone tonight. So far it's ok. I think there needs to be more objects and maps. Oh and everyone that is attacking a boss should get the kill credit. Not just the person that gets the last hit.
 
Now that I have sunk two nights into MP I want to leave some feedback:

When someone has taken damage and their shields are yellow and visible sometimes it's extremely hard to tell if that person is on red or blue team, it's worse in warzone because of the distance between targets is bigger, the yellow shield takes over their team colour.

Blue team is still a too dark shade of blue compared to red team, it's not as bad compared to the beta but blue team is still way too deep.

The new cluster grenades can easily force betrayls if you throw one and die and a teammate walks into it, I did exactly that last night because a teammate just blindly ran into one. I can see this being abused at some point to get people deranked.
 
I absolutely love the MP (beside the fact that i always hit 'B' instead of 'RB' for an melee attack) and i did not touched the single player campagin so far...
