Halo ODST has police sirens removed by 343i

People triggered by a stupid nameplate which is about a fictional police force in an alien shooting game need to get a life. I can already see black white snowflakes crawling on the floor crying about being shot by someone with this nameplate. And 343 actually listening to these fools, jesus christ.

And... That's it for me. No more Halo. I'm done with this franchise and this joke of a studio. Fuck Xbox as a whole actually. After all, it's been Phil at the helm for some time now.

What a fucking shit show.

The police hate is retarded af. They kill some criminal and just because he was black, it's riots and hate for ALL of the police. It's possibly the most important public institution and not every country gave it as bad as USA
Come on. Just a couple of weeks ago here in Phoenix police were called because someone was complaining that a neighbor in the apartment below them was playing video games too loud. Cops show up, knock on the mans door, the man answers with a firearm because you have a right to carry in arizona. Especially in your own home. Guy notices its cops, starts to put the weapon down and they shoot him in the back and kill him. The guy was just answering the door. Living his life in his own home and was shot dead by police. White guy too. And you have to no rights to defend yourself in these situations. Guy was just playing Crash Bandicoot.

Sure. But that doesn't explain why Black people are almost non existent in regards to game development and game journalism.

I'm just saying it is odd. It is odd that these companies like 343 release their diversity photos that are filled with white people.

Why is it that white women and white LGBTQ make up a large majority of diversity in gaming development and game journalism.
Explain why black people are over represented in sports... You might find your answer.

Cops in America are trash. Under trained, over funded with a socipathic belief in their right to end life.

When they stop killing people and doing their jobs like the cops in other countries I wont worry if you want to fetishise them

But keep thinking this is normal

Do you generalize entire groups of people off the actions of the few often?

this is how you know you live in a society that generally has no ability for critical thinking.

Because if they did, they wpuld be able to look up the actual statistics on cop killings and realize theres zero racial bias and the killing of unarmed people is actually EXTREMELY rare.

But people who cant think critically see a few videos a year go viral on social media and assume because of that it must be a pandemic of violence

sweet anecdote. fact remains that situations like that, while tragic, are extremely rare

ACAB is the most brainless fuckin phrase ever, and there are many to choose from.

ACAB is one of those terms where you can instantly dismiss the person and all that they say. Other terms are any racial insult used in that context, "YOLO", "white privilege", and any relation to 9999 genders just to name a few.

lets be real here, how much of the 13% black population are even involved in game development in the first place? There are different cultures out there man and IN GENERAL whites/asians are GENERALLY more into "nerd" culture than blacks. Gaming, and especially game production is "nerd" territory.

culturally, blacks are more into athletics and thus dominate those fields. On top of being physically more prone to being top tier athletic as well. Its ok, people CAN be different. Dont force diversity just for diversity sakes and even having diversity teams at gaming companies in the first place is asinine

When I go on giant massacres in GTA I can't help but notice that the police attempt to infringe on my human rights. I think it's about time that Rockstar get with the programme and remove these FASCIST NAZI FASCISTS from the game. As a proud Antifa supporter I find the whole thing as offensive as personal hygiene, getting a job, or moving out of my parents' mansion. "INSERT MORONIC ACRONYM HERE!!!"

I count 11 dyed hair wymyns. That is a boatload of females for a game which will be made up of 98% men.
Creativity at it's finest.

I never knew maximum creative potential came from dying one's hair crazy colours. I though it just came from having a good artsy mindset and you can translate that from brain to product.

I've worked at big companies my whole life, and every office worker I've seen whether it's a bean counter or a more creative marketing/artwork/graphics/packaging dept person has had normal hair except literally one I remember who was a super chill person but some reason one day she came in with crazy pink streaks. So ok, one coworker ever.

In tech and gaming, you get a lot of weird people.

This is the fucked up shit I'm talking about there is still worse worse. Cops have plenty of problems, but they are blowing up issues that are not that bad or are questionable, and only if the dead is black and a shitty person that probably deserved it. They are blowing up the borderline issues because the intention is to be as divisive as possible

They removed a useless nameplate from the game that im willing to bet you had no idea existed and that is the catalyst for you being done with the Halo franchise? The amount of triggering this decision has brought forth is equal parts cringe and hilarious.

Cops are cool. Fuck 343.

Honestly, this is non of my business, but put yourself in those policemen shoes facing criminals with military-grade arms and you'll realize that your chances of survival are thin. After showing how many policemen kill civilians (indeed, by mistake), should we show how many policemen get killed as well?

Yes, it's lower than civilians, but some policemen panic due to that and might not aim right at one point because one guy/girl wanna see the action then post it on social media. I still wonder why policemen in the US aren't heavily armed both as body protection and in gears. I know, it's expensive, but you either do that or prohibit the sales of military grade weaponry to civilians and even hand guns, only to allow bolt action rifles and for a reason (hunter license). They are slow and too large to hide in the crowd.

This and everything else 343 has done to Halo.

Look at the nameplates being compared here - if you don't have to deal with the toxicity I can understand being disappointed on "principal", but good for 343 for trying to be proactive despite failing spectacularly.

The rivalry between Neogaf and the other place is truly special.
