The biggest for me and the thing that first stood out was the cliffs and places where you could fall off. The original Sanc is fully enclosed and symmetrical. This is, to use an accursed phrase, "functionally symmetrical". Blue's carbine side is open, where Red's is a wall. Blue's back turret area is a cliff and Red's is a wall. There are other minor changes and they added a couple jumps (which I'm actually ok with), but these are essentially ripped from Asylum. How does this impact gameplay? As a random example, Red team has less surface area on offense to use for rocket explosions. How big of an impact that is is debatable, but for a map known for its symmetrical origins and gameplay, it just bugs my nitpicking side to death.
I suppose I should just be happy one base doesn't have the advantage of shooting through walls like Asylum? idk.
EDIT: Another example is one base is more vulnerable to grenades compared to the other, and there's more grenade options for bouncing off the walls. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the courtyards aren't the same either.
