What's a "perk"? Sounds bad.Guys, what frankie is trying to say is that there will be a perk that will allow you shoot and sprint at the same time.
See? All better.

Power up.
Question. Will Sprint in the Beta will be very similar in terms of speed like Halo 4 OR will it be very different to adjust for "Arena" playstyle?I'm not saying trust me, I'm saying make up your own mind based on what you see, and in December, more importantly, what you play.
Your autocorrect is broken. It somehow changed "Spartan abilty" into perk.Guys, what frankie is trying to say is that there will be a perk that will allow you shoot and sprint at the same time.

Continued sprint delusion damn. Open your eyes bruh. It's not leaving. The masses love that shit.
I just don't understand why they can't simply up the movement speed and get rid of sprint.
You get the benefits of faster gameplay and you can still shoot while moving.
Considering how good H2A Forge looks, I'm expecting that to pick up a bit of the slack. Forge maps generally can't touch hand-built ones, but they can add some variety, if nothing else.
Intense or really boring? Intensely boring?Holy shit this BTH v Str8 game is intense.
Why don't most understand that upping base movement won't solve anything?? It would help to create a new style of play ex. Flood/Infection gametype, but won't overall benefit how you desire to have better gameplay for Arena?I just don't understand why they can't simply up the movement speed and get rid of sprint.

You mean it's there for "accessibility", right?
I'm fine with optional sprint for certain maps and gametypes, but I don't want it built into the gameplay with absolutely no option to turn it off like Halo 4 did.
I really hope sprint can be switched off, as well as any other "spartan ability" included in H5G.

Classic Lockout.
Great shot by Roy, though. Talk about clutch.

Will I feel like a super soldier in Halo 5? That's all I care about.

Stahp the salt plzMyself and many, many others have already made up their mind: Sprint does not belong in Halo. The inclusion of ADS is quite literally the average Halo fan's worst nightmare.
The fact that 343 is trying to push this crap on us and simply saying "make up your mind" is BS. Are you going to actually change anything and listen to the community? At this point, that prospect doesn't look to promising because 343 wouldn't even think about ADS if they listened to the community's stance on it. A stance, I might add, that has existed since Halo 3 vs. CoD 4. The data for this stuff already exists.
I understand that you personally aren't the one who added these features, and I hope you don't feel like I or anyone else is angry at you. Making up my mind about this is simply something I and others have already done.
Can Master Chief finally swim?

Between a nice base movement speed, sprint, abilities, jumping like a boss and what I think is thruster pack then yes. I'd say so.Will I feel like a super soldier in Halo 5? That's all I care about.
Not everyone hates sprint with a passion. He makes a damn good point. Sprint doesn't belong in Halo. The "glorified zoom" could work but we'll see on that.
Sprint though? That will be the #1 requested ability to be removed from the Beta. We shall see if they listen.
because it isnt in their "Vision" for what Codlo is.
Because then they would stop having to look to Call of Duty for inspiration.
Can Master Chief finally swim?
You guys really enjoy watching a high level Halo match run out of time? A match where there's a lot of standing around with peek-a-boo gameplay?
I don't understand. Frankie, just give us Halo 5 already.. These people don't know what they want.
40k viewers is sad even for Halo standards.

that was map control and situational strategies in action
sometimes the game will stop to a crawl

Really?! I think it's pretty good compared with it's going up against.40k viewers is sad even for Halo standards.
That's how I see it to be for the beta. Good post.Sprint wouldn't be so bad if base movement speed was fast itself. When they make the base slower to accommodate sprint, that is the error.
How I hope Halo 5 does it.
Fast base movement.
Thrusters for better combat agility.
Sprint for getting into action quicker and around big maps.
First point is a must.
