Great looking console and controller.
I think consoles generally come with a plain copy of the game, if even that.Oh, well, nice! If that console looks nice and comes with the $99 LE that might be what I go with. Even sweeter would be to have it come with a Halo themed Pro Controller.
Not on PC. Game's a total mess![]()

Saw this via Reddit/Twitter, any ideas where its from? AR with scope, completely cosmetic or will it buff stats? (in Warzone) And can you keep the scope on in Arena, just for the looks?

In the Tweet Josh confirmed to someone any pre-order bonus stuff like this is available in game to everyone.

That's the best buy preorder bonus, this article on beyond has all of them I think. It'll probably be more accurate at long range with the scope and recoil thing it's called a longshot so that's probably it.Saw this via Reddit/Twitter, any ideas where its from? Hey. What happened to ADS not affecting game mechanics?
They didn't specify Arena when talking about it so I assumed it was game wide.
Like not being salty or anything, just a legitimate question.

The skin is pretty cool. And I know its only mechanic affecting g in WarzoneArena is cosmetic only. So that skin will be the only thing you'll use in Arena, the scope in Warzone.
I really like that skin, to be honest.
Well, we already know that ADS reduces spread on some weapons and does straight-up alternate mode type stuff on others. This seems more like a weapon-to-weapon change type difference than anything intrinsically linked to SmartScope, though.

I mean that contradicts what they said in the beginning. But in practice ADS would be useless without some sort of benefit.
Is there a good video or some sort of summary on the multiplayer of Halo for someone who never played it?
Classic/arena/ big team battle
halo: equal starts, no loadouts, emphasis on teamwork and map control, weapons and powerups spawn on map.
Warzone: focus on big team encounters and Rec packs that modify how you play the game. PvE elements in multiplayer. Think mass effect 3 multiplayer but with an enemy team as well
Cool, thanks.
Would you say the fights in Halo take longer than in something like Black Ops 2 (haven't played the Advanced Warfare with all the movement improvements), where you're pretty much the moment someone has his sights on you?
Also, is playing with people you know more vital in this game considering the bigger emphasis on teamwork?
You know I remember now reading just that before but not actual gameplay and took me by surprise watching this which is a cool change.Already confirmed. Boltshot drops the 1sk shotgun secondary for a 2 round homing thing.
Longer than average TTKs are a series trademark. 5 is dropping them down a little, but they're still much, much longer than something like COD.
And yeah, having a team you can actually communicate with is pretty important. A solid 60% of the game related posts are people bitching about awful randos![]()
Just realized that (unless I missed it) the Light Rifle was absent from the Warzone demo at E3. Huh.
NPC's had it, but I never saw someone get the option to actually pick it up.
Cool, thanks.

Alternate question 1;First question in there:

For some reason I never saw anyone grab the Splazer either, even though it was available as a requisition. Wanted to see how Halo 5 handles it.
Just remember when the game launched it was more effective than that.
Cool, thanks.

It's going to be beautiful, uncontrolled chaos.A scope on an ar angers me

Time to kill(TTK) in Black Ops 2 is about 0.15s at close range, 0.3s at long range. Halo's rifles take 1.3-1.5s, if the last shot is a headshot. In CoD, 1 vs many situation is double kill, triple kill, mega kill etc. In Halo, it's 'shit i gotta run away and get my teammates' help' because of high TTK.
In general, yes combat does take longer than a CoD title (except for swat). In CoD there's not much you can do if your enemy gets a bead on you. In Halo, by the nature of the longer TTK there's more things you can do to outplay your opponent.
For instance in cod, it's pretty easy to run through a team
http://xboxclips.com/Invert+3RB/f6bf0175-1d0f-4ff7-960c-66650eba357e I think I ran through 4-5 people with one magazine.
Where if this were CoD, I would have been dead http://xboxclips.com/Invert+3RB/cb324939-2f2b-4a71-be7e-6fbd574dd95e However, due to the higher TTK, I can be more... creative!
In my personal experience, It's much easier to take over a game by yourself in cod (especially when referencing TDM and TS) By virtue of the lower TTK + score/killstreaks a good player can effectively control a map by his/herself. So in my opinion... Halo does have more of an emphasis on teamwork versus cod. But we're really comparing grapes and raisins![]()
