Just curious, have you ever actually played with anybody in HaloGAF?
One of Plywood's .gif's from the Gaming side:
The +5 by the medals are the first peek at the credit/reward system I've seen so far.
Note also no health meter, thus no health packs. (Unless those three tiny vertical bars are it.)
The strafing in this gif has me grinning.
Article already said 30.
There is so much I love about the .gif:One of Plywood's .gif's from the Gaming side:

How the hell did you draw that conclusion from this? Really now dude. Any conclusions on the .map attributes you'd like to share?
Nope, but the 0 0 0 in the top right probably indicates three kinds of grenades again.Did anyone see a grenade in the footage?
I'd love to whistle a grenade up that ramp.

Burst fire BR and no health bar.....I could watch this gif all day.
I like how everyone is allowed to speculate but my posts are put under a goddamn microscope. Since I have to spell it out literally: the reason Halo: Reach does not have score bars is because since the gametypes are dynamically scripted, the game does NOT know when the game is actually going to end (because the end condition can change at any time). This is a result of Megalo.
I just made a simple observation that since it seems the game knows what the end condition is, the gametypes are baked into the game again (and therefore the game has the information again to draw the bars, because the end condition is always known). It's a simple observation that anyone could make. But I'm guessing you're just jumping at the opportunity to post ".map" again. It wasn't even that far of a jump.
Frankie just implied NO BETA for Halo 4 in that interview, or did I hear that wrong?!
It's definitely got a faster base movement speed than Halo 3.
Progress.
But it also has Sprint. One step forward, one back.

Are you for real? SMH
Absolutely. Perks are my only concern, but I'll keep an open mind. This two second gif fills me with more hope that they're heading in the right direction than anything else in that video. So much right with it; speed, BR, no bloom, general aesthetics. Wonderful.
Because whenever you show up around here it just stirs shit up, in case you haven't noticed. It's okay to have controversial opinions, plenty of people here do, but they're also active members of this community. I fail to see why you keep coming back here time and time again to stir shit up (perhaps unintentionally) when you clearly have no intention of becoming a part of this community. You probably don't care what any of us think, a hell of a lot of people here don't like you and don't care what you think, it's baffling why you stick around. Why does this matter?
Sounds so anti-Reach it's making my eyes wet. That ramp is perfect for grenades. Bouncing it just right at the top will cause it to airburst. Super useful.

Beaten badly by Hyper
There are three spots for grenades, or something, in the HUD:
That background, those graphics GAH im so excited
Vehicles and mancannons are sufficient fast travel in Halo. Never really was a fan of sprintsprintsprint then put on the brakes in a confrontation then go back to sprintsprintsprint a la COD. You don't need to put sprint in Quake, you don't need it in Counter-Strike, you don't need it in Team Fortress, you don't need it in Halo. IMO.Not IMO. If everyone has Sprint, it is fine. Assuming of course sprint's main use is to travel fast, not run from combat...
Looks to me like it's there for aesthetics rather than actually showing something functional. What are the three bars below the health meter? Sprint meters?
He's actually sitting in a tree outside your office.
I was gonna complain about the hit detection in that GIF, but it looks like he's getting shot from off screen as well, it's all good.

Okay you're insane. We get it. You can stop now.Come the fuck on, seriously. No one in this thread can honestly say this doesn't look like Reach. I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but if Frankie had posted this .gif 6 months ago under the guise of being a Reach.gif you guys wouldn't know the difference. I would love to agree that this game looks a million times better, but it's simply not true.
Yea it also looks like an assist medal pops.
This seems REALLY unlikely to me.Looks to me like it's there for aesthetics rather than actually showing something functional.
Believe it or not, not everyone knows Megalo. I suspect very few if anyone else here knows that. Now, how do you know they didn't update it? A little elaboration goes a long way. (I mention the .map because you have a history of leaping to hard conclusions based on limited data, rather than speculation, and it sounded like you were doing the same here.)
