I've only played via Blitz the past few months though. I had to leave my guitars and keys back in the US when I went to Canada. It was expensive enough getting the drums up here. Have to buy another guitar up here soon.

Yeah, mainly due to the rumor about the used games, but... wasn't Orbis also rumored to lock out used games? As of now, the only difference (between rumors) is the fact that with the nextbox there is a rumor about the need to be always online to play. Which I think is false or a misunderstanding.
Kind of excited to see how will Halo 5 look like in the nextbox... (and hopeful this time around the music will be much better, the soundtrack in the cutscenes in Halo 4 were really disappointing, like the low music that plays when Chief jumps at the end of Shutdown...
Although 343 did nail something, when I think about Halo 4 campaign, or at least, a special moment in the campaign, I always remember that moment in Requiem when you look for the first time those things in the sky, it was truly a moment to remember... and in 10 years from now, I'm sure it will be one of the few things I'll remember (clearly) about Halo 4 campaing.

Yea people overreact. I'm going to wait and see. My criteria for next gen is simple. I'm picking one of the big boys to go with my WII U. The winning console must meet these 3 requirements.
1. At least a basic level of online play free
2. Not lock out used games
3. Not require an always on net connection to play your games.
If either Sony or Microsoft can accomplish those 3 things they'll be the one to get my money. If neither of them can meet these requirements then I'll take the money I would have spent on them and build a good gaming PC and just go PC/WII U.

That was a nice scene.
I loved that, the Covenant fleet jumping out of slipspace into the centre of Requiem, the discovery of the Didact's Cryptum just after that portal jump with the strange music, the crash landing of the Infinity, the boost launch of the pelican out of the Infinity into the field of Forerunner structures, and probably the Broadsword trench-run, especially the part when you come out of slipspace and see Earth above. This scene is my favourite in the game. Especially the slight head nod that Lasky gives, that subtle body language worked so perfectly.

Like someone mentioned before, GAF is pretty Sony-bias in general, but the entire gaming side is lovedrunk off of rumours right now, and will skew anything in favour of Sony because they're console announcement is so soon. I can't blame them, everyone's been dying to move on from these old consoles holding so many games back in so many ways, but damn, the hype is taking the rationality out of people.
If these Durango rumours are planted by Sony, they're damn sure working. People are raising pitchforks over the same unsubstantiated rumours that have been circulating for over half a year now, and for Sony's console most recently too.

Anyone watch that Ninja and Saucey show or whatever? It was kind of awkward. They were literally calling out Halo pros who got the opportunity to make the strategy guide for Halo 4. Basically saying, "Why did THEY get to do it? They don't do anything for the community" It was weird to watch.
