Well I'm glad you have the patience for making these game types, I certainly wouldn't. So how did it change between reach and four?I started by looking into matchmaking gametypes code, changing things here and there and trying to make sense out of it.
Bungie created an amazing tool and 343 actually improved and added very interesting things on top.

Ryan Suter, one of the best defenders in the league, just got the Minnesota Wild their first hat trick in almost four years and first defender hat trick in franchise history.
I cannot turn this game off early. This is a momentous occasion.
It's alright, it seems like you'll be the only person joining anyway...
How come every time I read this thread gabotron is talking about some terrible Reach game type?
Its time for barn videos now?
Holy shit. AGDQ doesn't start for another 12 hours and they've already got $1900 in donations...
So how much sense would it make in Halo 5 if forerunners were to return? Not like the robotic prometheans but real, organic forerunners. I'm kind of confused about the story at this point.
That was way too good. I was looking straight at him when it happened so I'll gif it tomorrow lol.Good stuff Ghazi
Can't believe that idiot in the Banshee on Spire. Dude was wrecking everybody and then just spiraled into a big rock in the middle of nowhere for no reason. Practically kills himself and I only have to turret at him for like two seconds to kill him. What a dummy.
They've been alluding to it in the books quite a bit.
Bear revealed that instead of all of the Forerunners dying, a good chunk of them are still alive and went away. Guilty Spark is still alive as well and knows where to find the Librarian. He stole an ONI ship and went off to find her.
It would not surprise me at all to see a cliffhanger in Halo 5 relating to them finding the Forerunners before they play a big part in Halo 6. Just a guess though.
It's gonna be so fucking good :>
Theres going to be a Halo 2 run in AGDQ by some dude named Monopoli. Never seen a Halo speedrun before cant wait.

Surprisingly the Django Unchained soundtrack worked pretty well in Halo. I felt like a space cowboy in space and killing people with guns...
I could see that, I enjoyed listening to Kavinsky and Daft Punk while I played so I don't see why Pendulum wouldn't be equally enjoyable. I should give them a shot one day, while I play.Pendulum is great for Halo multi.
Cody also did Halo 1 at an AGDQ before that, but it's not polite to discuss that. There was a live speedrun of Reach on Legendary a while back if you're interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmDwAWvSUbI
A Storm of Swords was probably one of the best books I've ever read, and damn if I'm excited for next season of GoT, but man, A Feast For Crows was kind of a let down after book 3. Just starting on Dance with Dragons now.
Yeah, AFFC was definitely a bit of a chore for me. Namely how it focuses on some characters entirely and does not feature some fan favorites in any way. I understand what GRRM was trying to do but ugh it was boring to read some people every other chapter.
DWD starts off quite slow, but it returns to characters that have been either misused or altogether ignored in some of the previous books toward the end and really benefits from it.
Pretty good cliffhanger as well.
Hey a buddy and I were going to play Halo 3.
But he has an arcade S model and it says he needs a HDD.
Memory sticks didn't work for him.
Any suggestions?
Every single ASOIAF book ends with a cliff-hanger, brah. Whatever you're expecting... it probably won't be that.Damn, didn't need to know about the cliffhanger because now I'll be expecting it. But yeah, that's exactly it, like I wanted to read more about certain characters and what happened from the previous book, but it completely shifted gears. Apparently feast for crows and dance with Dragons is meant to be like one super book, so I can't wait to read what happens to the characters he didn't talk about in book 4.

You're right. Actually reading Dance right now, first chapter as I post this. Anyways, don't want to derail the thread too much so I'll stop posting about it now.
The answer is on the back of your Halo 3 box.So I take it S arcade is a no go with Halo 3 co-op then?

Basically, you're screwed if you don't have an HDD (or a memory unit, for those still rocking a jet engine 360).
Fun fact: games that use the HDD as a cache also sometimes don't run as well on HDD-less SKUs. In a couple cases, the quirks can be rather weird; Halo 3 has a TON of sound assets and uses the HDD to help stream them, so playing without an HDD means you have far fewer sound permutations.
The existence of HDD-less SKUs was a bizarre move for the successor to a console that thrived on its built-in hard drive, really.
I dreamed Frankie posted a video of Halo 5 beta gameplay. So where is it!?
Well, we were able to play Halo 4 on his Slim Arcade. I thought the Halo 3 requirement was fixed for some reason. He tried the onboard storage and a MS branded memory stick. No go for either. We could do MP, but no campaign.
Well great I forgot the halo 3 brute shot as well. Shame we didn't have brutes, in the storm in game.
