Well none of the media for Halo 4 has followed the timeline that Reach did, so don't count on it.

I don't doubt it, but by the looks of how much time Redlynx is putting into their map editor, maybe they could slip it in as an unsupported little hidden feature, why not Halo as well? Both would benefit greatly from it, and it wouldn't affect gameplay outside of forge editing.
I know it's a stretch.

I thought your Arena ranking is determined by your match ratings. You could be bottom of your team and still win 29 matches but yor ranking won't be that high. Being on the winning team increases the match rating I thought.
I can't imagine juice's ranking even being that low though.

Not much will ever live up to this piece in terms of sci-fi music. The Ilos encounter, and then wrapping up the first Mass Effect game to be brought back to the main menu looping this piece. Words cannot express how awesome it was. I'm hoping so hard that it's Jack Wall, because Mass Effect 1's music was brilliantly awesome.

What are you doing on Reach? I thought you 'retired'.
The "Uncharted Worlds" track is straight crack. In my recent playthrough of ME2, sometimes I would open the open map on the ship, get distracted by something and then realize I was just sitting there for a while listening to that.

Arena hasn't been determined by match ratings in almost a year. Win/Loss is ALL that counts. I don't see how people don't know this still :/
Bungie/343i really should have communicated it better. Ratings are only for show now.

It's completely win/loss now, just like Halo 3 and Halo 2. In-game performance no longer matters.

I told you the other night you have to really invest in the Arena playlist to get your real rating. It's a 3 month long season and playing and winning 30 games (while impressive) against bad kids isn't a real measure. That's like starting a new account in Halo 3 and only playing Ranked TD's for a weekend.
You, kyle and Over are good enough to get low Onyx, but you have to play a lot more games after getting your first rating. Trueskill doesn't take effect as soon as some would think in Arena.
I'm sitting at 50% Gold this season playing with the same guys night after night and we constantly get matched up against die-hard Arena teams with Onyx ratings. One kid tonight had 630 games played this season alone.

Problem is I'm better than everyone in Halo. So all this is irrelevant we need a system that can rank me instantaneusly.

That would be interesting. I've been using Auntie Dot from the moment I could unlock her in Reach as my Firefight voice, and I like having a female announcer of sorts. It would be a nice change of pace.
Finished Game of Thrones (the first book) tonight. Good stuff, now onto the HBO series before diving into the second.

Indeed it would... But I can't shake the feeling that Campaign will be separate from Infinity, that is No MP characters will be in Campaign, and vice versa.
A new AI (perhaps one built in to the SIVs) or even a forerunner AI could possibly be the new MP announcer.

I think it took nearly a month to read; most nights I did 20-30 pages (2-3 chapters) each night. Only the past week did I pick up the pace. I knew of three events from accidentally spoiling myself skimming the HBO thread:
a certain character's smothering, another's beheading, and the birth of the dragons.
I'll take a month to work through the HBO series then dip into the next book. I want to take my time with it.

Man, this just makes me wish I had gone to PAX, I decided to sell my tickets at the last minute...
Oh well, I'll be there at Prime in the summer. I hope some sort of Halo gathering like HaloFest happens again, that was so awesome.
