It appears complex has already put the vidoc up

soo good this game is in good hands... I'm expecting an EPIC soundtrack.
Interesting direction. All the music sounded good, and unusual in its composition (I mean that as a compliment), but not very strong melodies on first watch. Of course, they're just snippets. I'm really looking forward to a longer piece. It's a very different direction for the score, and that's a very good thing. This isn't Marty-lite, it's a whole new ball of wax.
Will the Halo theme return?
No buttrock, please. That's one theme of Marty's that I'll be happy to (hopefully) never hear again.
Hopefully Hirednoobs uploads it to youtube 2 months after release so the rest of us can ever hear it.Halo theme will be unlocked by getting a billion Spartan points.
Really nice. Moving away from Marty's unbeatable style and creating a whole new feel for the new trilogy's soundtrack is the best thing they could do.
Still doesn't do it for me.
Oh well, I guess I'll always have the first three. Definitely still interested to see where Halo 4 goes... But I think it won't have the same effect on me Halo 2 and 3 did.
Reminds me of the newer Doctor Who slightly. Similar emotions I guess.Soundtrack sample:

The end is pretty amazing.
The comment thread is more interesting:Just saw this on Reddit (Halo Reach): http://imgur.com/25Mz4
TheMagicSheep said:The stock vectors are from a company called You Work For Them. From what i could find it looks like this pack was created in 2002.
Speaking as an Art Director at a major advertising agency and as a design nerd, I think it sucks to see stock art as major design elements. Especially for video games like Halo that people would uproot lives to design for.
No, and I actually like Incubus (at least up until Murder of Crows).lol come on man you tellin me you didn't get pumped up when incubus started to play in the Arbiter level in Halo 2..
The music feel "richer" then anything marty did.
I think what's happening is you're wanting something very similar in vein to the first 3 games, it's changing your whole perception and now that it isn't...well.

The hype is clearly already getting to a few people. We've been through this whole rigmarole multiple times.
It does.
I keep replaying it over and over.
FUCK. SO GOOD. This game...gonna be a masterpiece.
Meh. I'm with Blue Ninja on this one, the sound just bores me.

I don't see how you could say that. Have either of you listened to Marty's work outside of the game itself? Full of texture. It does.

No, but why should we? We're just comparing the music from the games. In any case, I'm not saying this is necessarily better than Marty's. It is still difficult to top him.

Can I help you?
I still remember lurking during the launch period of Reach. Everyone's (including my own) hype was through the roof. I remember Sai-kun being one of the first ones with the game and everyone flipping out and amped. It's gonna be insane come a few days before launch....

Because you're both listening to an isolated audio recording and saying it's "richer" than anything Marty has done, without hearing his work in the same fashion. Was about to say the the same thing.
I am sorry dude it is ridiculous to proclaim that a game will be a masterpiece based of a snippet from a new composer vidoc.
Where's Hydra to tell you that you shouldn't jump to conclusions? Or does that only count for negative comments?Like I said, all the previous Halo games were masterpieces to me (except Halo Wars; and maybe ODST), but the main entries were
The music I've heard so far (and which I'm positive there will be even better in the full game), the concept art telling what sort of things we'll see, the graphics, the premise of the story, insane amount of different talent in the studio, leads me to that conclusion.
