Halo |OT3| Remember Reach?

I just don't the see point. Juggle to go fast and make long jumps hold it to be sneaky. It's fucking perfect that way.

Yea I get the feeling thats just how it came out of programming the first round and they were too fucking lazy to change it. Need more of those indian programmers that know every language inside/out. Not lazy Xbox pizza eating American ones.

Wow, they're removing ZB Slayer, the only playlist I touched nowadays (MLG is too hard for me). Guess they really want me to not play Reach... :/
 
They originally said Zero Bloom was going to be options in other playlists. So it sounds more like the original plan.

Also, who wanted win credits in this thread? Team Objective has them now.

Yeah I know, the lack of cohesiveness just kills me though. Vanilla, TU, and ZB, just give us one please.
 
why are they removing all my favorite playlists?!!!
first squad slayer and now zero bloom. whats next, make arena 200% bloom with default armor lock

(On a side note: I hope they got rid of those f'ing Heretic elites with uncannypipes and rockets. There is no way to physically survive that wave in Doubles.)

Heretic Elites: The reason why I'm glad there wasn't any of them in campaign for SLASO runs. The way they use the GL is just unreal.

Alternately: the reason we should be glad you can't fight Spartans as Elites in Firefight.
If you remember, Spartans in campaign are using the Elite AI routines, just slowed down a bit

The Firefight Arcade playlist was changed to Firefight, and new Firefight Arcade game types were added (with the original Firefight Arcade game types remaining intact). The new game types have been suffixed with NEP, which stands for "New Enemy Progression." As indicated by the acronym, you will see a more diverse enemy offering in all three types of waves–initial, main, and boss. Making a triumphant return to the same playlist are Limited game types, in both their original form and with a new enemy progression.

Firefight Doubles was also updated, adding new enemy progressions alongside the original Firefight Doubles game types.

Constructive time.

I think the the skin is a bit too scaley, larger flatter scales kinda like a drell from mass effect is the sweet spot i think.

That thing has alot of teeth, i think something closer to shark teeth would be better less teeth

Maybe some king of small protruding horns along the nose?

Yeah once I finish this one I plan for the second to look way different when it comes to scales and teeth, I really want to try to go back to something more Jackal. Also, Im thinking of using the Halo 1 Jackal concepts as my starting point..they looked very alien and very creepy. As for horns, Ill think about it.. I know I do want to get that bony beak like structure from the Halo 3/Reach Jackal. Im torn about the teeth, I do kinda like the crazy look, but I may try something more structured.

I am okay with this update. I still wish Super Slayer would drop all the forge maps and Sword Base and go back to being Squad Slayer, but I've kind of given up on that at this point. Oh yeah, and Squad DLC still isn't TU. smh.

I'm also slowly becoming less worried about Halo 4. The concept art in that there is awesome. Dat Tashi Requiem Ceiling.

Objective getting few changes. Wish they would still make it 4v4.

Considering that 343 has already said that objective gametypes are designed around 5v5 in Halo 4, don't count on it.

Also, who wanted win credits in this thread? Team Objective has them now.

Double the normal win bonus is still a minuscule fraction of the game complete and random bonus credits in the game.

Reach's investment system is so backwards lol.

Dude with the earpiece is probably trained in 7 different martial arts and knows how to kill with thumbs.

Headphones are like night and day, you have to play with them imo. Plus there's probably a DJ or something going on in the background.

I hope this new version of Cragmire is more framerate stable and more sane for people. The scorpions are gone, for the record. I hope to see people actually Rocket Racing it up with the rocket launchers placed right next to gooses.

I understand the want to make Arena win/loss, but this is ridiculous. I go positive every game, win over 80% of the games, have an average daily rating of 1560+; yet it puts me 30% Bronze. How the hell does that work?
