Tighten trueskill and enforce party restrictions and you have the same system that ranked Halo 3 used to match up players. The 1-50 is a conversion of your trueskill level in order to display a players "skill level". Matchmaking still used "pure" trueskill to match players up.

Yay fragmentation. I'm sure there will be some bastard "classic" playlist in a deep corner of matchmaking with 12 people playing it. 99% of people will be playing Halo 4's base game though.
If you're buying Halo 4 with full intent of hating every change and banking your experience on a "classic" mode/playlist(s), you're going to be disappointed. Yes, 343 will have some options for people, but with good reason, the overwhelming majority of the online experience will be their vision of Halo 4, even if you hate instant respawns.
Also, anyone that says Halo 4 doesn't have significant influence from other popular shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield is walking around with blinders on.

I play a little bit of everything. I just like the MLG gametypes the best. The problems is the playlist is incredibly broken without a ranking system, so if people here wanted to play that would be a blast.

I want to see what they have done with forge and theater. If forged maps could be made on PC, and then transferred to Xbox, then it will probably be the greatest thing ever. But It won't be that. All I want for theater is group viewing and an "upload to YouTube" button.

I'm not going to do this.
Don't be surprised if Theater is exactly the same. You have to be realistic about production priorities, and putting in uber-fringe features into theater are probably not high on the priority list.
A Youtube upload feature would probably be a part of the file share though, not a direct Theater feature.

I dislike the idea of uploading clips to YouTube. They should be saved onto your PC. Would probably help people, which are doing montages/machinimas.

It's hard to believe that they'd have time to do this while in crunch mode for Halo 4. Though I guess pre-production work (or whatever) could be happening. And like someone else here said, maybe it's just a Halo 2 map pack for Halo 4 (which would be AWESOME).Confirmed Halo 2 Anniversary (OXM). I cant find a link in english .

Top 5 XBL games easy (reach currently sits a 6).
The very last thing any company wants to do is have the player base split across 2 games like that.
And honestly IMO the CE map pack for Reach was great id gladly take a Halo 2 Map pack for Halo 4 providing it ends up being a fun game. Having 2 "current" halo titles is not something i want to do and launching another MP title that close to the launch of the last game kind of undermines all the work that would of been put in.
