Hybrid isn't out yet? That's the one with the movement based on looking where you want to go and hitting A right? I thought it was kinda slow and clunky
I have weirdly fond memories of that level on Legendary. I found the best way is to kill everything. Conventional wisdom would suggest avoiding encounters and racing to the next checkpoint, but if you take your time there's enough ammo to kill every last Flood muthafucka on that level.
One thing I realized about moving, starting over with a new hard drive now:
Holy shit does the files list load fast when you don't have hundreds of map and game variants. Got used to waiting 6-10 seconds to select a non-builtin map or gametype

Glad there is a halo tourney to watch in arena gaming. My not have a huge amount of competition but it is still fun to watch halo in a tourney.

Yeah in the pantheon on bad levels Cortana and the Library are certainly low, but they're not horrible (especially from a difficulty standpoint.)
Using the hammer to skip that one big room was inspired. Next time I play that level I'll have to do that--gets rid of the one place I always have difficulty.

I love the ODST pistol. So frickin sweet! SWAT ODST magnums would be wicked! Having eight or more people firing those that rapidly would be unreal.
Pre-patch Halo 2 pistol, smg combo > everything.
That was the only good thing about Halo 2 pre-patch. Anyone remember that game before the patch? Six hit beatdowns, a BR that was worse than Halo 3's, and so many more problems. It gives me the shivers just thinking about it.

Yea, I prefer the quicker rate of fire and the design of the pistol. Sure it's not as powerful as CE's, but it was fun as hell to use. I'd like to come back with the SMG, both as secondaries, but I'm preparing for complete disappointment

Wow, I wonder how he went about blocking people. Seems like a weird list. I can't think of any reason to block Dax, Tunavi or Shake at all. I don't think any of the people he has blocked match with the ones I have blocked.

I was playing Halo 3 a few minutes ago and it was BTB CTF on Sandtrap. I don't know how we pulled it off, but we managed to drive and control both elephants so that they were side by side and capped all three flags within a minute. Sounds stupid, but it was ridiculously fun killing the other team who were trying to board their elephant and defend their flag.
Any word on the elephants returning in Halo 4? Even if they're on a single map, it would be awesome to see them again.

Well there has been an elephant-like vehicle pictured in campaign shots which could be cool if it were featured on a BTB map. Not confirmed for MP though.
