Because it doesn't have any grass on it.Why do good maps like this http://www.twitch.tv/underradar411 (splash) make it into tournaments but we get so many garbage forge maps in MM?
I'm only half kidding.

Brutes were really boring enemies that shuffled left and right and smell bad.
My face is on GAF. The end is nigh.
Which one, the left or the right one?

I was wondering what map that was. There are a couple other ones that look fun to play too. Next Reach update needs to have these maps in there.

Oh damn I really have to finish this weekly now. lol
And pls HaloGaf help me, does someone has the GIF with the monkeys and a guys pulls Halo 4 behind him?

At this rate, the Brutes will no longer be ape like.
The Brute concept art was soo cool. To bad that awesomeness never translated well in the actual game.
Only because you believe in them so much, Flipyap.Still, I bet 343 can find a way to outlizardman Reach's lizardmonkeymen.
Which art, the stuff for Halo 2 where they were all extras from Mad Max, or the Halo 3 stuff?
Another question that can follow to this is, How'd the Covenant found the shield world in Halo Wars?
The relic on Harvest displayed a star map that guided them to it, which also relieves a pretty common question of "What was the point of even finding the Relic on Harvest?"
One thing that's interesting to think about is this: was Regret looking for the Shield World's keyships to form a new fleet, or was he trying to secure a safe haven in the event that the Covenant actually had their plans of the Great Journey come to fruition?

The concept art is cool. In game they just go "AHHH" and charge at you every single time.

So 'Storm' is the name of the rogue Covenant faction in Halo Quad. Have you guys discussed this yet?
They're called Brutes...

We've been too busy discussing the Brutes from Halo Double and Halo Triple.
I admit their bullet sponge-ness was an issue. But it ain't like the Elites were any better really. Sure, they actually took cover (and climbed on boxes) but they weren't particularly more intelligent. They went "WORT WORT WORT" and charged.
And Reach Elites are the worst of the bunch, even worse bullet sponges than any enemy in Halo before them.
And yesterday he was bitching about stifling Halo discussion; I guess as long as its Halo discussion he wants to discuss.
Oh wait, Kyle discussion.
When I see things like the Promethean Knight, I wonder if the Brutes could have been replaced by something a lot more interesting than a bullet sponge.

What would reach be called then, Cero?
Lol, zealots on Halo 1 Legendary.
.
Yeah, a couple of pages back. Now we're discussing the Brutes from Halo Double and Halo Triple.
I, too, have always liked the concept art of the Brutes from Halo 3. I love the belt buckles and the leather straps. Too bad it didn't translate that well into the game.
Lol, zealots on Halo 1 Legendary.
Elites had more interesting designs (IMO) and were there since CE.
I guess the problem I have is, we already have Elites to go WORT WORT WORT and charge. Did we really need another enemy that has a less interesting design to also go AHHHH and charge.
The Elites should have been made more tactical and Brutes should have taken over the close-in enemy's role.

You know it! My faith in their ability to turn everything into scab-covered lizards cannot be broken.Only because you believe in them so much, Flipyap.
Weird. I thought those concepts translated really well, at least as long as you let them keep their fancy hats/pants on.The Brute concept art was soo cool. Too bad that awesomeness never translated well in the actual game.
So basically Halo needs more varied and betterAI.driving
Halo has good AI compared to other games (indeed, probably the best AI in shooters, at least in those i've played). It still falls way too short from being actually intelligent.
Cheating AI is not counted, Halo AI actually needs to locate the Chief.
Reach AI is half-cheater, it is nearly 100% accurate when firing, even on the move against moving target.
EDIT and dat driving AI.
I'll go shoot myself now, don't remind me of it.
EDIT, actually, i'll go shoot some friendly marines.
Have you played FEAR 1?
Looks like a paper machete ninja. To be fair, the Chieftains were pretty well realized. You know it! My faith in their ability to turn everything into scab-covered lizards cannot be broken.

On the 29th, it was decided that shadow's team was moving on. Neither you nor him decided to contact the other for a whole week.Next time, don't let teams know a few days before the tournament limit for the current round. Especially when the tournament seems cancelled, and a game hasn't been played for a weeks.

I shouldn't even have to do deadlines. If every captain made attempts to establish communication, then scheduling wouldn't even be an issue.
Next tourney, which I guess would be sometime after h4 fits, teams should just be more localized. That way it's easier to get everyone in the room rather than making some people play at odd as fuck hours. When it comes to those teams having to square off then it can just be morning/afternoon for NA folk and night (but not late night) for euros. If you're in Australia, then whatever, you're just fucked all of the time.
