True, but there's also a moment in the multiplayer beta trailer when you can see the gun being used in a large gathering of infantry. Lots of blue explosions, none of which were direct hits.
Quite frankly, if this thing has any kind of tracking on standard infantry, I think it would fall in the OP category.
And that's coming from someone that had no problem dealing with the Spartan Laser, or the AR. I guess I just come from this old school of thought where you should actually have to put the reticule over the target to hit it.
