The lighting effects look amazing I must say, and especially during that part where the guy is firing down that hallway.

Someone should gif the Elite and Spartan meleeing one another (@47-49 seconds).

The Needler Rifle also had infinite ammo, so I think it's safe to say that's just the gametype.

That shield isn't going down worth poop. Is Red guy just that bad? Also notice that the melee would not have resulted in death in this case because neither shield was depleted. That probably would have been enough for a death in Halo 3.
