Dslgunstar I appreciate everyone likes different things about Halo and everyone has theyre own playstyle, there are typically no right or wrongs in terms of opinion but the pistol being usless is a bad thing!!!

Totally agreed. I dont think I've ever said that the pistol should be useless, only that it shouldnt render the AR useless.

I was afraid that the pistol's power at close-to-mid range would render the AR pointless, but based on the shots from the latest video, it is going to take some INTENSE headshot skill to take out enemies effectively with it.

On the flip side, we the AR was still capable of triple-kills with intelligent use of grenades and melees. AND we see that there IS an AR/DMR loadout.

So really, I could not possibly be happier

No idea. Could be played when a player spawn with his "bro" or could be tied to a specific number of spawns as a reward/medal for spawning X players. Just don't know yet.

They wanted people to use grenades and melees. They've certainly got their wish. Sage said that ideally the AR is just outside AR range, so there should be cases for both weapons to be used effectively.

For such a popular place it really did take me a long time to find it. I actually do wonder what Halogafs opinion on Halo 3 was when it first came out - and if those opinions will come full circle when Reach is out :lol

Thing is playing Halo 3 now is so hard. Im such a retard, I was playing Throwback earlier and just got outplayed. Not only could I not control the game, but I just couldnt aim. It didnt help that we played people at the top of theyre game, I would have probably been outplayed by those guys anyway, so jumping everytime I talked and reloading everytime I wanted to melee against hardcore players was horrible. :lol

I think im going to avoid Halo till the Beta, messing around with control schemes sucks.
