And if so from where? I don't have a credit card nor do I really want to. However there is something I need to order that requires my name on the credit card... so I was looking in to that since it seems impossible to get a visa gift card here in Japan...

Paypal has a credit card, but it's an actual bona-fide physical card. I know that I can get virtual CC numbers which tie back to my Citibank card; that's nice if you want the extra security. But I don't know anything about a virtual credit card.
