I've been to Cuba, and Mexico. Does it compare? How is the safety issue? I know Jurrassic Park is supposed to be there but because it was filmed in Hawaii I'm sceptical that there really are dinosaurs there.

I went a year ago with my family and a travel group thing. It seemed pretty safe and is very worth the trip. I've never been to Cuba, but when what I saw in Mexico can't compare. Great beaches and rain forests. Manuel Antionio is like a state park on the cost, the beaches are covered with giant iguanas and monkies swing above in tress. I didn't see any dinosaurs, but it was some really awesome stuff. Lots of Sloths, some of them were even pretty active. I'd like to go back one day for sure when I can plan my own trip and spend some more time certian places. The cities, towns, and coffee plantations were great, but the volcanos, beaches and rain forests were where it was at.
