I ran across a review for it while flipping through (the always surprisingly worthwhile) Computer Games at a local bookstore today.
Premise is basically fantasy football/rugby/whatever... with a real-time/turn-based strategy sort of control system. Downloaded a demo, seems kinda cool.
(http://www.chaosleaguegame.com/ if anyone cares)
BUT:
- Seems pretty tough -- played exhibition with lopsided teams and won, then played two "season" games and got my ass handed in both.
- Doesn't seem to have been released outside Europe. Not sure if this has been remedied, what with the review in a US mag. (It's available as an import at gogamer.com at the very least)
So has anyone played the full version of this game? A bit of a chore to start, but it seems like a game that could be rewarding in the long term....
